Enterprise companies (1,001+ employees)
Kyriba empowers CFOs, Treasurers and their IT counterparts to transform liquidity as a dynamic, real-time vehicle for growth and value creation. Kyriba is a secure, scalable SaaS platform that leverages artificial intelligence, automates payments workflows, and enables thousands of multinational corporations and banks to maximize growth, protect against loss from fraud and financial risk and reduce operational costs. Kyriba states that for…
Oracle really lacks the reporting and analytics that we’ve found in Coupa. In Oracle, we had to have a dba on staff in order to field the reporting questions. In Coupa, every user has capabilities of their own to grab the reporting they need this is a huge time saver for us and …
Concur was a lot easier and more user friendly for employees doing expense reports on their phone. That is not the case with Coupa. You must use your laptop to do expenses and our managers don't always have enough time to do that while out in the field working. This has caused …
Coupa is much more robust than Tipalti or Bill.com for tracking invoices. It also allows some customers to order our product via an internal product catalog which is a competitive advantage that Tipalti and Bill.com don't seem to have. However, Bill.com is a lot more user …
Coupa is a relatively mature tool when compared to other options available on the market. Although the implementation takes time & effort - it is truly worth it in the long run. Additionally, Coupa's customer support is really good & prompt. Coupa is definitely a top choice for …
For expenses, expensify has a much better UI and is easier for business users. However for finance teams, I believe Coupa is more organized on the backend.
Coupa is way better then the both of them. Especially Concur, as they pretty much have the same functions. Coupa is just way faster and more updated that Concur, and their Customer Service is way better than Concur.
We used Replicon for many years prior to going with Coupa. Replicon lacked the dynamic approval process we needed for our complex organization. It did not integrate with our HR system and we had to manually add our users. When payments were made, there was no way for our users …
I didn't have any say in picking Coupa but I know our AP team did extensive research with many products and came to the conclusion that Coupa was the best fit for our organization.
We evaluated Ariba, Basware. We chose Coupa for its cost effectiveness, richness of features, functionality and value for money. Coupa customer service is also very good. Coupa is investing time and effort to bring in more features and constantly improving its products. Some of …
Coupa fits within our desire to have best of breed systems delivering value to our organization. We generally work with true cloud providers that are available anytime, anywhere for our mobile workforce. We are pleased that Coupa is in our lineup of service solutions.
Coupa does well compared to its competitors. Coupa has an easy to use interface. It's an all cloud based, SaaS. Reporting in Coupa is also above the competition. Coupa also requires less maintenance, upgrades are automatic and we don't need to worry about being on the latest …
We looked at a number of solutions. Due to retail's high turnover rate I needed a stable tool that was extremely intuitive that store level employees would find easy (and maybe fun) to use. Coupa is so configurable I can set up each store with different spend authorizations to …
GTreasury was great for our organization for the 4-5 years we had it. We were looking for a treasury workstation that was more robust. We needed something more cutting edge and we felt like Kyriba was the next best move.
City Financials was a legacy system. The version we were working with was very old - Bank connectivity was a manual process. Kyriba acts as middleware and we have been able to communicate with our ERP's around the global with full automation.
Treasura has not been invested in for product development for over a decade. It was ahead of its time back in 2010 but now it falls short of the user experience and sophistication / logic rules that Kyriba provides. Kyriba continues to invest in and develop its product to …
Before going with Kyriba, we considered a number of products. However, the main reason we went with it was how easy it was to integrate it with bank statements. With other software, it isn't easy to implement. Kyriba is very easy to use and the system performance while using it …
Cenveo evaluated multiple Treasury Management Systems; however, Kryiba was the only one that could provide us with the solution for our AP payments. Cenveo required the TMS to allow at least 2 levels of approval in selecting and paying vendors at the invoices level & clearing …
The above are all examples of bank rec software, Kyriba was selected over its competitors after a comprehensive vetting process. Kyriba has served us well, covering the bank rec process efficiently as well as being a one-stop-shop for treasury and banking-related functions for …
It is one of the amazing tools which gives a superb performance. the cash and liquidity management of this tool is very strong because all the modules of this product work super well in any company with all the banks all across the globe. Also, the function of reporting is very …
C2treasury is a good product but with limited functionality, particularly in the connectivity space. They don't offer a concentrator solution that is cheap for fewer accounts. Reporting is also limited. Blackline is a different product but its Bank reconciliation is a little …
In previous companies, the payments were processed from an AS400 based module, which required a deep technical knowledge for every action required, turning simple things like adding a bank account into a nightmare
With Kyriba, most of the processes and updates just requires a …
Elire had a lot of options that we deemed unnecessary, and the cost was much more than that of Kyriba. Elire did have some options that were very intriguing to us that Kyriba cannot do, but the price differential combined with the complexity of Elire made us decide that Kyriba …
As I stated, I was not a part of the process to select a TMS, but I do know that several were evaluated back in 2014 I believe. The final candidates were GTreasury and Kyriba. Kyriba was selected in large part to having the more dynamic capabilities for a global organization …
Kyriba offers a more comprehensive and end to end workflow for a SaaS offering. It is structured around Cash management/visibility but has sufficient functionality for complementary functions to serve as a stand-alone system at a better cost than its competitors. It is more …
Kyriba is just a good as the other products available. It is easy to use and understand. However, they need to enhance their offering to show value above and beyond the other workstations. Since, we are a domestic company, Kyriba works well. If we had more advanced …
I've outlined all the reasons previously. Cost, Experts in TMS with one line of business, large enough to have the resources to improve, but small enough to be nimble and quick with upgrades and changes after listening to the clients.
Suitable: Simple indirect procurement. Low cost; short cycle implementation. Less Suitable: Complex procurement scenario requiring serious vendor collaboration. End-to-end integration. Direct Material Procurement, especially when planning, quality inspection, and other miscellaneous activities are involved, requires handling various special statuses and updates to meet industry- or country-specific requirements.
Kyriba is a fully featured TMS that offers SaaS ease of maintenance and implementation. Because of the amount of customization and feature set, cost is higher, implementation time can be longer against some of the other other options in the market. That said - for those looking for a SaaS platform TMS, Kyriba offers almost everything that can be asked for and often beats competitors in pure capabilities and features. There is also a steep learning curve - so for simpler Treasury orgs, the cost likely isn't worth it.
Kyriba is great for creating a position of cash flow. We are able to use that information to create an accurate daily cash position that is used by Management in the decision making processes. With all the bank information reporting into Kyriba we are able to easily monitor liquidity.
Kyriba makes it easy to monitor the activity in multiple bank accounts across the organization. Having all the transactions feeding into a centralized platform saves us valuable time each morning. This also increases our visibility into each account.
Kyriba is able to track all of our financial instruments for us. It is easy to update information for our various loans because it is all in one location. We are able to run reports at month end at the push of a button so we can reconcile our activity against the bank reports.
With one particular customer I have had about 40 emails to be accepted as a vendor. With other customers before Coupa became horrendous I had no problems. As an existing Coupa user why do I have to create a new profile?
I have been accepted as a user 3 times then a day later Coupa wants the same form filled again and again.
Help is only on a chat line. You cannot speak to anyone and in my opinion they are not helpful. Their suggstions have gotten me nowhere. They refer me to talk with my customer to straighten out the problem. My cusotmer doesn't have a clue.
I'm considering not to accept purchase orders that require invoicing through Coupa.
Keep working on adding content and functionality to Cash Forecasting, especially looking out 1-2 years (or more) to create a daily/weekly/monthly/annual forecast and do variance analysis.
Improve Bank Fee module to add more variance analysis, benchmarking, and reporting. The last I looked, it mainly converted the 822 files to excel reports and did some comparison to the bank's original per item pricing, but not much more than that.
Haven't used their BAMS module as yet, and it probably improved since the last time I looked at it, but at the time, it was pretty good but needed more work. Kyriba needs to work with the main banks to allow their BAMS forms and activity to be accepted by the banks, and ideally integrated with the banks. The big problem in this space isn't Kyriba - it's the lack of standard forms and processes within the industry for Bank Account Management. Hoping Kyriba and other TMS/BAMS providers can help drive this.
Very powerful treasury management tool, the reason it's not a 10 is implementation and support lags behind competitors. It can take a long time for issues to get resolved. But once it's set up properly, everything works well most of the time. Few if any other providers will have the same range of features.
-Could be easy or hard to use depending on corporate policies and compliance. At times, errors and cryptical message associated with them could drive users mad.
Kyriba is very easy to use and offers Elevate training for continued growth. It is extremely customizable which makes it easy to adapt the system to any organization and connect with any ERP or financial institution. There is also continued support and webinars to continue to build on it’s functionality.
-Support is generally speaking OK (not great). The user community is quite active, and the response time is acceptable. I would certainly hope there's more user-generated content (like in SAP, Oracle, and Linux, etc.), but I suppose Coupa is still not large enough, and the incentives are not yet there.
We have weekly calls with our support team to discuss ongoing implementation projects and other issues we find from time to time. They are very responsive to any questions we have and can escalate issues to a higher level of support if they do not have the expertise necessary to fix the problem. They are helpful in coordinating testing with banks if necessary, and provide regular statistics regarding support calls, causes of problems, and resolution.
We had some issues with one of the implementation people provided by Kyriba. The communication skills were lacking, with assumptions being made as to what we knew already. It was very frustrating. Once that was resolved, further module implementations have been smoother.
Coupa fits within our desire to have best of breed systems delivering value to our organization. We generally work with true cloud providers that are available anytime, anywhere for our mobile workforce. We are pleased that Coupa is in our lineup of service solutions.
The above are all examples of bank rec software, Kyriba was selected over its competitors after a comprehensive vetting process. Kyriba has served us well, covering the bank rec process efficiently as well as being a one-stop-shop for treasury and banking-related functions for our group of companies.
The Sourcing Module has returned our investment 23 times on an annualized basis.
We're now SOX compliant and as a public company, that's keeping us compliant with our corporate charter.
Having one central invoicing location has reduced our AP calls significantly. Our suppliers now have visibility into where their invoice is in the payment cycle. We also have a much higher invoice-to-pay cycle.
