Eventleaf vs. Jotform

When preparing for an event, having online registration is vital to planning. The online registration allows participants to learn about the event, determine their schedule and inform the host of their needs. For planning purposes, there are several helpful reports available through the Eventleaf Online app. This is a great tool if your organization will collect registrations for >50.

We use it for mostly community surveys and I absolutely prefer it over any other survey program out there. It is easy to create, easy to understand and easy to navigate. I love the QR code option it creates for you to share your form/ survey with others. It really is the best out there!

• Easy to use: I was a first time user and signing up was super easy.
• Intuitive: The progam flowed naturally; the order of the tabs and their contents made sense and led me through the process with ease.
• Comprehensive: While I only used the program to register folks for a fundraiser, it has other options which I will totally use down the road.

• Gathers information on my clients

• Enables my Team to use the form I create as a Template so they don't have to re-create it which saves them valuable time.
• Educates clients about the benefit of supplementation
• Educates my prospects

• Although the registration component is fully customizable, the website itself could be more customizable. It is pretty restrictive on what you can put where.
• The registration takes a little while to set up depending on how much information you need. It also doesn't allow for repeat fields which makes bringing multiple guests challenging.

• The price is too high for casual users like myself
• The automation took some time to figure out (that's understandable)
• Making the forms look uniform took a lot of time to setup
• Some parts like the approval emails, notification emails can be confusing

Great customer service. My colleague reached out for support midway through planning our event and they replied quickly with a thorough solution to our problem

I honestly have not used the support feature with Jotform. From what I can see when I look information up, everything I want to do something that I can't figure out myself it seems to not be a possible solution or edit that Jotform is currently capable of.

The EventLeaf website made me feel that their product/service was more about my event needs and less about hyping themselves. I found the timely and helpful support from EventLeaf wonderful. The team that presented the live demo were very helpful, answered what might have seemed like dumb questions from me (being new at this) with respect and helpfulness. The ability to customize pricing to the scope and needs of the event we were planning was great

Typeform is better hands down [in my opinion]. It's not even a comparison as [I feel] JotForm doesn't work properly and [from my experience I think] their support is very problematic. I would suggest using Typeform or using GravityForms as an alternative to JotForm. Whatever you do, [I feel you shouldn't] depend on JotForm for something that is important to your business or research project.

• Eventleaf cut the cost of event management software by nearly $2.5
• It has saved us countless hours on the phone with customer care--we spent 10 years with a big-brand event management company which equated to 100s of hours on the phone with customer service. I haven't had to contact customer service yet.

• It saved me time. Within minutes I was able to create and share forms to collect demographic data.
• While struggling to use another software, I thought of Jotform and it was able to assist me with collating the data I had to confirm results previously obtained.
• I could not easily identify what new information was provided in a resubmission by a respondent.
