EventMobi vs. Mentimeter vs. Slido

EventMobi has helped our organisation to conduct virtual conferences during the pandemic. It has also helped us to include all the information and reduce our costs on printing and boarding. Instant updates and messages can be sent. Also, regular updates and better customer service have really helped us to do the business in an easy way. You get some insights on Event Technology, Session Feedback, Survey, Email Marketing, Attendee Networking people. Where this has lacked - If we were being given an option to add in our own custom fields within the agenda/session descriptions.

Mentimeter is very useful for continuous engagements and follow ups during webinars, seminars, team meetings, online classes and surveys. Even during offfline conferences it could be well suited for increasing the interactivity. However, it could be less effective when the audience size is too small like a group meeting or video conferencing with friends and family

How was it well suited to me? - The leaderboard and freedom to edit the quiz. The fastest finger quiz to announce the winner based on fairness. The ease of login through QR Scanner. Also, it did not pinch my pocket at all. The best part is this $25 earning opportunity via feedback :-). And the list goes on... The less appropriate part was mentioned earlier in ways that I see improvements with Slido, coming to utilize Slido everywhere and in various ways. Overall, I love the AI suggestions.

• Slido integrates well with Microsoft PowerPoint which is very much useful for us.
• The post poll dashboard reports are very much insightful.
• Shareable links are created easily with Slido. Also, this saves a lot of time and manual effort for us.

• I think more brand related customisation option could be helpful
• Reporting is basic , detailed analysis is missing
• Integration options are less, could be made more compatible with a lot of leading tools

• I miss the Slack integration; they used to have this and they deprecated it in the last year or so.
• I believe they have a nice integration for PowerPoint, would be nice if they had something similar with google slides since that is what we typically use internally.
• We use the word cloud feature often and sometimes answers seem to get lost (as in don't show up at all) on the screen. for example, an answer will be there, then as more answers come in it disappears, and when we get to a certain threshold of answers it somehow pops back up again. It's not the worst but sometimes someone will ping me that their submission didn't make the word cloud and they're bummed.

It gives High engagement of audience or trainees during live workshops and easily connect with other software. Ease of use for both participants and host for live interaction and workshops. Since it doesn't require any app to download and can be used via browser. It understands the issue of users and gives updates time to time.

The user interface is really simple to get started with, anyone can start using it. The simplicity might somewhat limit the set of features, but there are some advanced features hidden deeper down in the user interface that you can find once you're up and running and want to start improving your presentations

Overall, it is a handy tool. We do not use it too often in meetings; we started using it creatively for quizzes and Q&A with radio/TV audiences. Producers or Sponsors often explicitly request the option to include this particular type of interaction, and we are happy to do so. It helps that the setup is easy, so is copying events, etc. I sometimes miss Switcher (for our live events), but I understand the reasons it was phased out

I had to use the support for this tool only once. The response was very rapid, very professional and fulfilled my needs immediately. Online support services are sometimes advertised only to lure people into buying the product but and non-existent or difficult to use afterwards. Not with Slido. This was not an automated chatbot and the direct contact really helped me

I find that training is very informative as it helps understanding the software usages and implementation. It gives the usgaes area and how to create gamification and live Q&A section so that you can use in live team meetings and workshops. It is very useful in training and webinars where a large pool of people are there.

We really do not have any other experience with other apps. We like that Eventmobi is easy to use for both us and our clients. We can add attendee names with their picture and contact information manually or import them. We can add speakers, agenda, pdf hand-outs, hotel information, etc., easily.

The other tool used in our company for live poll is Zoom because of its direct compatibility with Zoom calls. Mentimeter is more interactive in terms of poll questions and its biggest advantage is wordcloud. However, it being an an external tool for a conference app, it is sometimes less preferred.

I find Slido a bit easier to use than Poll Everywhere and other live polling software that I've used. While other software offers similar features, I've found that Slido's setup is a bit more intuitive and makes it easier to duplicate polls you've made for reuse. You get the most bang for your buck with Slido's basic plan compared to other polling software's basic tier.

• No need to be physically present at the event. This helps in reducing Travel time & other expenses.
• The focused approach so one can watch the recorded session and deploy more time to understand better.

• People have to be more alert during presentations because it asks people to participate.

• Slido helped us increase student engagement which resulted in improved academic results for our students
• The Q&A feature helped us answer questions we received from parents and audeince during live events which resulted in increased admissions in our educational institution
