Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Mentimeter to create interactive live polls or surveys or quiz for the group / team. It has been quite engaging which gauging opinions. It helps us with getting real time feedback from the audience and understand what they think about the discussion topic. Since it anonymous , it allows and motivates the audience / team members to share their point of view without any fear of judgement. Also, it acts as Icebreaker too.

Usability

I love the concept of Mentimeter and how it has helped during various phases of the org i.e. from training to operations. It has been one of the tools which really helped people to open up and share their perspective without any judgement, which also allowed decision making quite easy as you have the real and quick feedback on things that matter which are important to the team.

Alternatives Considered

Slido, Poll Everywhere, AhaSlides, Quizizz and Wooclap

All of these mentioned tools are great! However, Mentimeter is kind of an allrounder tool. First of all it's easy to use and anyone can login quickly and participate in the quiz/survey/QnA. Gamification is quite good, I really like the live world cloud visualisation which makes the overall experience even better. You can even create full PPT/slides dec with engaging questions which makes it not just a QnA tool but a sophisticated presentation tool.

Mentimeter can be a good tool for Training sessions wherein it can act as icebreaker, run fun sessions and keep the training engaging. It can also be used to guage employees point of view and their honest feedback. Mentimeter is also a great tool for conferences wherein you can run live quiz or do a quick survey for the audience.
