FinancialForce HCM (Discontinued) vs. Freshteam

FinancialForce HCM gives HR admins the full Hire to Retire experience while also meeting the needs of the worker/end user. Additionally, the application is well suited for talent management, shift scheduling, electronic benefits transmissions and connecting to payroll providers. Integration of HCM with other FinancialForce offerings, such as PSA and Accounting, completes the connection of front to back office.

We were looking for an ATS which can generate detailed report on daily, weekly and monthly basis. This ATS does it best. It is fast and does not lag while using. Supports multiple logins and does not disturb any subusers. Not suitable for big sized companies as it still needs some more features to be added to make it appropriate for big firms.

• It's customizable for every department.
• The "back-end" is easy to use. You do not always need to contact support to tweak items.
• Once a process flow is created, it is VERY user-friendly.
• We can integrate other platforms such as Formstack into FF.

• Moving interviews through each stage. It helps keep you stay organized and no one falls through the cracks.
• Communicating with people through the Freshteam email is easy and again it helps guide interviews through the process. It also reminds you to follow up with people when they will not move forward to the next stage.
• The hiring manager can log in and see the progress and notes at all times. You can also load your different interview questions in so the entire hiring committee can have everything in one place.

• User experience - most people at our company were extremely confused by Freshteam and I frequently struggled with the same task (i.e. adding users).
• Tracking applicant diversity - we ended up using Typeform to supplement Freshteam.
• Analytics - hard to use and not particularly useful.

Not usable, not able to undo the premium features to enable any downgrade request

From a pricing perspective, FinancialForce HCM is very competitive in both licensing and implementation costs. Ultimately having an application that was native to Salesforce drove our final decision. While we were hoping to find an application that included the ability to process payroll internally we settled on the process of linking to a 3rd party vendor. The other options were either too pricey or lacked some of the key functionality we required.

Zoho recruitment is also a decent product but we liked Freshteam over that just because of a few added advantages that this is giving to us, namely, we are using other products from Freshworks like Freshconnect. Secondly, Zoho does have less customer base compared to Freshworks. Hence we choose Freshworks over Zoho.

• Budget friendly for small and medium sized businesses. This is the most affordable ATS with all the important features required.
• This has really given a good ROI overall.
• Overall we are having a good positive impact using Freshteam is highly recommended for small and medium sized firms.
