Titan.Mail
Flock is very well suited in scenarios where individuals must communicate via chat. It also works great when teams need to communicate via group chat messages. File and document sharing is another area where Flocks works well. Channels are used for discussions on specific topics or organization-wide announcements. Flock may be less appropriate when you use it for voice and video calls. Where.

Zoho
Zoho Tables has been great! I have outlined many of my descriptions in my previous answers. It works great for many things, and could do with just a bit more refinement in the ability to customize what it can turn into. However, the best part of Zoho Tables is the simplicity of its original "blank" state. With the right pre-made User-defined automations for primary zoho apps such as projects and CRM, this would become our commonly used tool as a central hub for all our operations.

Pros
Titan.Mail
  • Networked phones are a thing of past now. We don’t have to stop what we are doing to receive phone calls currently because Flock can do that
  • It is now easy to send messages to many people at the same time, all we need to do is to add all the contants in the chat and select all to send a message
  • This software has an in-built to-do-list which allows us to assign tasks to different people or users and then supervise each independently

Cons
Titan.Mail
  • A tool is only good if people use it. Some of the artists I work with found it too complex (though I don't think they really gave it a good shot).
  • We used it heavily for about six months and it didn't hit too many other big negative points.

Zoho
  • Ability to create subgroups in a simple fashion in the Zoho Tables. That allows for drop downs. Does not change the formatting of any cells unless specifically addressed by user. But a light column is added at the start of the table with a button to dropdown each row.
  • Ability to fill a cell with color without reason or specific selection of field options, add an option for a simple color bucket fill.
  • It would be great to have an efficient way of updating tasks, projects, etc all on one table easily set up by the user! (Ie. When column "Next Action" equals "Add Task to Project 1" without using deluge)
  • The best pre-made automations for Zoho Tables would be with all {} being user defined selections:
  • - Update {Selected Task Field} on {Task} when {Column}...
  • - When {Row} on table is created or edited: Add {Column} as a Task on {Project} in {Task List} then map {Related Table Columns} to {Project Columns}

We would likely to renew use of Flock for our organization since it meets most of the requirements of team collboration and communication for a small group like us. Most of our Flock users like it's features and use it extensively for day-to-day work. We are quite optimistic about it's future updates.

Usability
Titan.Mail
It is good to give what an app deserves, Flock is very efficient and effective app to manage the all day to day activities and communicate across all team members, create groups, share files, send reminders schedule reminders for each group or persons and share notes.Pin files and search any messages from anyone with advanced filters. It's a great app.

Zoho
Simple to use and as a Zoho user, for over a year, I had no issues whatsoever implementing tables almost within minutes to replace Airtable and other databases that were being used as intermediaries, without the automation. Highly recommend (note: in very early stages of testing)

Support Rating
Titan.Mail
We've only needed customer support a few times with Flock (mainly concerning app integration and security), and they've always been timely and helpful, which are the only things I truly need from support. The response rate was still rapid, and there's plenty of support available online as well for Flock.

Alternatives Considered
Titan.Mail
Flock as mentioned takes the best of all these apps and improves upon them. Flock's UI was exactly what we were looking for and Flock doesn't overcharge small teams for search functional or messaging. It just offers a great product at a great price combined with great support. Their chat ticket system works almost immediately.

Zoho
Zoho Projects is great for it's intended use to track and manage projects, and the CRM is also great for it's intended use. However, when you are managing operations, everything essentially "ties" together when you are needing to make next decisions. This really comes into play for meetings, and to do lists, etc. Sometimes, all of the detail does not matter when you are trying to operate efficiently. For example, during a meeting, many times we will review KPIs (comes from CRM but in Analytics), then projects, and then general topics. At all points throughout the meeting, tasks are coming up which need to be added, etc. All range vastly resulting in a lot of different places. With Zoho Tables, I am basically working on a blank canvas of cells that can pull data from where I need it too and the more user friendly the ability to set up automations and workflows to be a central hub/home base type tool, the better it would be!

Return on Investment
Titan.Mail
  • Organizing notes manually has been drastically reduced. Flock folders and chats are perfect for keeping each file separate.
  • We have not missed one calendar event with Flocks integration of our Google Calendar.
  • Being able to cut out or $99/month case management software has saved a ton of money each month.

  • I have not had much ROI on this specific tool just yet. But I do foresee the ability to streamline a lot of our operations as we are beginning to scale.
