Talent Intelligence
Comparison of Talent Intelligence features of Product A and Product B
Gem is a in my opinion a necessity for any TA team in this market. It's no longer possible to be competitive with just LinkedIn - it's easy for candidates to lose those messages. Gem allows you to get noticed by candidates and stay competitive in this market!
Indeed Resume is extremely well suited for my Pharmacy Technician positions. I receive a high number of applicants and many of them are qualified for my positions. All of the contact information is provided for me to reach out to the applicant to begin the interview process. Many of these interviews have resulted in hires.
Gem's dashboards feature is still a work in progress. It's not incredibly intuitive and there aren't many ways to visualize data.
There are often discrepancies between what's in the ATS and what's in Gem and it requires troubleshooting.
It would be great if Gem could integrate with data from other sources such as LinkedIn Recruiter so we could see conversion rate data from there as well.
I find it does not always recommend the best resumes to invite to the job we are recruiting for, based off the experience needed or job titles in the candidates resume
I don't like how invites don't roll over into a new month if you don't use all of them in a said period of time.
We have implemented this tool across several management divisions and locations as of today, so I don't anticipate us canceling our subscription. With the upcoming pricing changes, we are looking at ways that we can stricken the user of the software, but we have seen such benefits from it that we simply cannot go without it as of today.
It is very easy to view, user friendly, and a great feature for quick selections. I haven't had any problems viewing or sending out invites when I need to. It can be a little hard to find at times. It seems to be buried to where you have to search for it.
This tool allows you to do so much for such an affordable rate. If you want to scoop up your competition's talent, you can filter searches for resumes for people who have or currently work at their business. You can also you Bollinger searches for individuals who have experience with a specific type or word. And my favorite, you can set up search criteria that alert you of any new resumes with specific criteria so you are first to reach out. Highly Recommend.
Gem was able to allow more customization. We were able to see more into our current funnels. Easier to share and collaborate with others. Gem made email campaigns simpler and more customized. Gem took some of the LinkedIn inmail processes and automated them. Gem had better data and after some time got more accurate emails.
Indeed works better for the entry-level roles we are searching for, we find LinkedIn is for higher-level leadership roles. However, Indeed does have a wider variety in general, of all types of roles and skillsets. I've found more luck finding entry-level job seekers on Indeed and more luck finding HR professionals on Linkedin.
Some managers reported decreased time spent searching for applicants.
This is another site to check for applications.
If you want to make it work for you, it can: decrease time to hire, increase candidate responsiveness, but you are missing out on a large section of applicants, thus decreasing your applicant quantity and quality.
