We selected Google Meet because we didn't necessarily need the unique URL or a dedicated app for screen sharing. We found that Google Meet was sufficient in getting everything we need for our team meetings, as well as meetings with the clients.

They both have their good and bad things but to me Join.me feels like there's less steps to get things done. Zoom is more robust but I'm also paying a lot more for it and it can be cumbersome at times to set up meetings. I've had far more issues using Zoom than Join.me.

Well suited for both our workplace and virtual meetings, especially when people are not in one place. It is also more appropriate with audio, visual, and captions. It is also more appropriate to send a recording to your drive for reference on parts that a host may not have captured.
I would neither recommend nor dissuade anyone from using Join.Me. When it first came on the scene, it was a game-changer as far as providing remote access to other authorized individuals and helped save a great deal of time trying to walk someone less proficient through all the detailed steps of computer repair. However, with the proliferation of Zoom and other conferencing products that also provide built-in remote access through its service, the need for a separate application is now limited and not as essential as its own product.

The admin can change the role and make anyone as admin of the current session.
Even if the meeting gets disconnected due to network in the admin's side error still it remains running on the user's side.
Multiple people can share screen together at the same time.
The admin can make the meeting open to all so that every time someone joins the admin does not have to allow them one by one. Once it's open, all can join without permission of the admin.
No need to download anything to get started. Once you sign up you can get started from within your browser. This is probably the single best feature, its a get up and go solution for video conferencing and you do not need any software for it to work.
The one click join a meeting URL is genius. Users who struggle with remembering passwords or invites can just click a link and immediately participate in a meeting which means one email and a couple of clicks and a meeting can start.
Good control features - As the main user, you have many control features including deciding who can speak, annotations, screen sharing easily.
Screen Recordings to the Cloud - This can save on time when you have had a long conference, you can save a recording to the cloud and download it later.

One major one — I always say that we cannot send attachments during the meeting. Teams has that, so I believe Google should add that as well. Because you can have the conversation in the messages, but you can’t provide a file. So let’s say I have a technical conversation with someone, and I want to share a document, like an architecture diagram — I cannot send it. We have to use Gmail or Drive for that. It can be integrated for sure, so that’s an improvement that definitely can be done.

There should be a complete guide to understand its features before installation because if one feature will be missed then, we can’t get them working properly.
Furthermore, there should be high-quality internet for getting its function and it won’t work without good network coverage.
I think its interface is a little hard for beginners and is not that user friendly.

This app is still having a lot of redundant features as compared to other industry apps such as Zoom and Webex which offers much more on the functionality side along with the option to have greater user access control to the admin/host of the meetings. A sense of interaction is always found to be missing in Google meet which can be easily adopted in the Zoom

Google Meet is very easy and simple to use. I can schedule a meeting right on my calendar - it literally takes a few seconds. There is no additional app I have to open to schedule anything. Guests can click on the link easily to join any meetings. 10/10!

Join.me is one of the easiest programs I've ever used. It's so easy to get it set up and installed and even easier for someone to join a meeting. The controls are very intuitive and labeled appropriately. The UIX makes sense. It's been a reliable product in my app stack-I love it!

Google does a great job of providing tech support for this product, as it does many others. Similarly, Google has FAQs that cover a large amount of issues faced by users. Problems have not persisted in our use of this product. Problems are resolved quickly and easily, with or without personal Google support.

I honestly haven't reached out to their Support team. I get notifications of what they are working on which is good to see, but I haven't directly spoken with any of them. I think my main reason for this is that join.me gives me just what I need (not much more and not much less).

I use Microsoft Teams, but obviously Google Meet is much better than that because there are some challenges which I see as part of this. One of the main pros that I see here is that in Google Meet, whenever you have all those recordings as part of the Google Suite, you have those recordings stored in Google types. So that's the same Google product and everything stays in the same thing.

If you're looking for something basic that handles a little bit of everything when it comes to meetings, screen shares and remote desktop control join.me is a great options. If you're a super user and really wanting a lot of detailed features and rich user interfaces and money is not an issue you may want to consider use specific options.

I wasn't involved in the unit pricing factor. So far I used Google meet in the office where I got access to all these Google applications including the Google Meet feature. So I wasn't involved much in this pricing factor of Google Meet and also regarding the contact terms of the product.
This is very good in the professional services as I started using this first for the professional service only. While using this Google Meet itself gives a professional feel as the UI works in a professional way. The video background modification, multi-screen feature, and some other features help in professional service.
It's definitely the way that we engage with our customers and each other. So I think it's really good that it can help you bring remote people together and feel like you've met with them online. And then when you meet them in person you're like, this tracks, this definitely coincides with who I saw online. So it definitely is a really good platform to just bring people together, but remotely.

Customer support solution - join.me has made it so much easier to quickly get with a customer and see their trouble and show them a solution. This saves lots of back and forth time and gives the customer more power over owning their solution.
More efficient communication - without join.me we would waste time going back and forth on emails or slack trying to get our message across. Join.me lets us quickly show AND tell others what's going on. I honestly don't know how we ever functioned without it.
