Kameleoon vs. LiftIgniter Real-time Personalization Platform

There are many platforms to choose from when it comes to experimentation and personalization. We've found Kameleoon to be an excellent choice for those looking for a balance in capabilities (it checks all the boxes), cost-effectiveness, and a helpful customer success team paired with a responsive product team.

LiftIgniter is well suited for:

• Media companies without the resources to develop their own content recommendations systems.
• eCommerce companies who want to get product recommendations live onsite quickly.

LiftIgniter is less appropriate:

• Organizations with a shallow content set onsite.

• Widget editor (creating a widget without any code)
• Results analysis dashboard (easy to read and understand)
• The consulting team (always available to help and guide us - Thank you [C...] !!)
• Segmentation (it allows us to easily target a specific audience)
• The tool is very intuitive and easy to use

• It does a good job recommending content that is related to the current story a user is on.
• It does a good job not recommending content the user has already viewed.
• It does a good job being a recommendation engine for disparate sites with related content.

• Interface of the graphics editor is quite conceptual. It is fine after a few days but it takes a little while to recognize some icons.
• Their online tutorial could also be easily improved.
• If you want to do major graphical changes on your website, you will have to inject JS and CSS code which requires some technical background but I don’t know if that point can be improved.

• Manually controlling certain undesired results is not straight forward and seems to often result in a lower CTR or conversion rates.
• The LI Dashboard has limited features.

First of all, the Kameleeon support team response time is one or the quickest in the business, which helps you when you have any doubts about using the software. The software is straightforward to use, even if you have no experience building Tests before.

We have a very good relationship with our CSM and with Kameleoon’s technical team. We trust them fully to help us with the set-up of A/B tests and personalizations, analysis of results, and any technical matter that we may encounter. They always do their best to be as responsive as possible, and our communications are always very fluid.

Kameleoon does not compare to others! If I chose this tool, it is above all because the speech made by the members of the company during their presentation was clear.
Real experts who had identified our challenges and our needs. They also came with relevant use cases and recommendations.

It's the best. Our only other option was rolling out our own and LiftIgniter was easier to implement and performed better for related content.

• Since we started using Kameleoon, our ROI indicators are all green. Truth is, we rely on exigent customers. If they’re not happy with our service, we will pay for it on the long term.
