Any company that deals with the retention of important data should have Keepit to ensure operational security and data confidentiality. In scenarios such as using file servers in SharePoint, Teams, or Google Workspace, it's a tool that offers complete integration and helps save IT a lot of time on security incidents or human errors in file deletion. The fact that it only restores what is not in the folder, or backs up each version of the file given the snapshot date you choose, is fantastic. For companies with more than 10 Windows devices and needing to standardize the OS, AV, access, share resources, and install software. SCCM is the way to go. This software is unnecessary if the business is all remote users and not in an office-type setting. There are cloud offerings or none to accomplish what a business needs.

The product could improve in the area of having better mechanisms in place with how the SCEP client is deployed/installed from the server on the management side. We have run into this firsthand with the client not installing on an endpoint, and then having to take the time to investigate why it was not installing.
A second improvement that can be made is to keep trying to improve the products detection rate for finding malware/viruses. The case can be made that there are some products out there that do a better job at this and have a higher detection rate.

Keepit is an awesome product that garantees a result with a simple interface, and a quick configuration integration. Nowadays the service is really good and all requests have been replied to very quickly, and that´s important for our satisfaction. The possibility of multiple points recovery is a plus as well.

Such a simple solution to use. User friendly, intuitive, processes can be completed in minutes instead of hours with restoring from tape, and requesting the return of tapes from the off site location, thus saving many hours and cost of storage. Also gives the end user a better experience as files can be restored almost immediately.

It is not user-friendly for the most part. With IT infrastructure, sometimes it cannot handle excess requests. Every few months, you will need an upgrade in terms of server resources to keep up with incoming alerts and requests. This does not happen all of the time, but it does happen when there are too many requests.

Support helped us to set up SSO and MFA with our Azure AD Accounts. Once when the backup was failing, they could help us to investigate the reason and find a stale account that was preventing the backup. They are really concerned that the backup works and not only want to close the ticket like other support hotlines.

There is a fair amount of documentation out there to help you when you have questions or run into issues with this product as well as tutorials on some of the more common tasks. Between the documentation and the overall ease of use we haven't had to deal with direct Microsoft support for this product.

The communication from KeepIT was on point, we did the implementation based on very little information as it was so easy to deploy, yet super powerful, it is a great tool.

We previously used Veeam to backup data from O365 to local servers. We had other SaaS platforms we needed to include and move from local to cloud backups. While Veeam does have multiple cloud options but compared with Keepit it was overly complicated and less cost effective. Keepit was a no-brainer in terms of simplicity and having a single 360 dashboard.

We previously used a mix of FOG and Clonezilla to image machines. The biggest issues with these products is that changing one piece of the image required you to rebuild the entire image itself. These pieces of software also did not allow you to manage applications and Windows Updates, causing IT to have to constantly touch machines after they were imaged and update or manage them with a much more hands on approach.
