Overall Satisfaction with Keepit

We use Keepit to backup M365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Microsoft Entra). M365 has built-in backup functions, but not all are covered. Hence, we were looking for a third-party product which can back up all business data. Not many backup products support such a wide spectrum of services like Keepit does.

We had several cases where users accidentally deleted SharePoint sites and Microsoft Teams. Data was backed up with the built-in M365 features. However, the users realized too late that the data was missing, when the data already was removed from recycle bin. Keepit saved our users life - many hours for manually recreating data. :-)
Keepit is not only very easy to be implemented but also to be administered and operated. For common tasks there are assistants in the user interface are self-explaining (look and feel). In most cases it is not required to read long user documentation. The current status can be monitored in the admin interface.
Backed up data is transparent to the admin. Personal data of persons who no longer work for the company can be removed (excluded) from the backup. Keepit clearly defines where the customer data is stored and how it is processed.
We had several cases where we restored accidentally deleted data.
Recurring administrator tasks need to be easy to operate, even without deep technical knowledge. That's how it is with Keepit. Assistants guide you through the backup and restore processes.
In the past we had to store a large amount of backup tapes and needed to manually put in backup tapes on data restores.
M365 provides built-in backup and restore functionality. However, not all user data is covered and deleted data is only available for a limited time. With Keepit al data can be backed up and stored as long as wanted.
Since Keepit is a cloud-service, management and restores can be triggered from everywhere.

We had several cases where Keepit saved our life. :-) Users accidentally deleted data and couldn't find them in the recycle bin anymore. It is awesome how easily it is to restore data within a very short time. We also love how easy it was to implement Keepit in our environment.
