Lattice is well suited for companies that are very focused. We use it to disseminate the OKR methodology in all of the employees of the company and it has helped a lot to make sure everybody is focused on the most important tasks and is able to think strategically and not get lost on details that do not add value.

Maestro

Maestro is great for managing my membership and is terrific with reservations. At this time I am not sure if there is any scenario where it is less appropriate. I guess it doesn't work well as an interface for a golf shop, for tee times, etc. And, any golf product we get doesn't speak well with Maestro, so maybe golf. But, they may have a solution for that too.

Lattice

  • Lattice helps drive the cascading of goals/objectives down thru the entire organization. (This is crucial, in my experience, as employee engagement is more easily achieved when we can create that "line of sight" for people at all levels of the company.).
  • Lattice creates a living, breathing talent management platform... allowing managers - and employees - to stop worrying about remembering all the great achievements that should be acknowledged during performance feedback discussions. The check-in feature (when used appropriately) keeps employees focused and managers informed.
  • Lattice provides an intuitive performance feedback process/platform, which is configurable to a great degree to meet the needs of our organization.

  • Creating a completely customized rubric to grade tickets on the things you want to help your team grow in
  • Allowing managers to track how their agents are doing as well as providing concrete examples of work product for 1:1 meetings
  • Giving management peace of mind that agents are responding appropriately to clients

  • The UI is so simple that it results in some constraints.
  • It would be nice to have a bit more settings that an IC can configure.

  • No ability to view contact information from a home screen (must click into profile to see phone number)
  • Feels a bit archaic
  • Would be nice to see "flags" or ways to mark students for calling
  • Wish that the 'attempted call' option turned a student yellow instead of keeping them red

Support for Lattice is timely and effective. Even if you can't speak with someone on the support team, they have a great help center online with a library of questions that are most likely to answer any question you may have. If you need to speak to someone, they will get back to you right away.

I love Maestro support! They are always available or get back to you quickly. The employees that work at Maestro must get treated well because they are always positive and patient on the phone with me. And, even though I am not great with technology they always help me find a solution.

Lattice

I believe Lattice is the strongest of these options because it is very customizable to each organization. Its well designed and can be used for all department needs. I found the other solutions a bit too rigid, which was inconvenient. I like the flexibility I get with Lattice.

Maestro

We selected Maestro over Qualitista and some hacked together Google Sheets scripts that performed similar functions. At the time Qualitista was in its early alpha stage and wasn't something that would have worked for our team. The Google Sheets script worked well for a small team, but didn't allow us to do what we wanted with peer feedback. The team at Maestro did a great job onboarding us and adding features for our peer feedback use case.

  • We've achieved greater consistency in our talent management process thru the use of Lattice.
  • Managers spent 1/3 less time on completing the formal performance feedback (evaluation) form than in years past.
  • Employee engagement is improved, with comments from employees directly related to the cascading of Corporate goals.

  • At one point our step pricing was not working properly so we did lose some room revenue. Maestro helped us get this resolved.
  • Maestro saves time, which saves money, by having all of our member billing, reservations and more in one location.
  • No other impacts that I can think of.
