Patch Manager Plus is an automated patch management software that provides enterprises with a single interface for all patch management tasks. One word is all I would like to say ..it's a one stop solution for all your IT needs so just go for it and make your work life easier and establish the security posture of your organization which is at most important aspect in today world.A happy administration will make all …
Having used a multitude of solutions, I can say that ManageEngine Endpoint Central encompasses the vast majority of the tools necessary to manage an information system. Its agent-based operation enables controlled communication and near-instantaneous administration. It also includes tools essential for technicians, such as remote access, remote control, and access to computer system tools.
If you are managing a very large number of computers, I would say 1000+, the standard patching tools provided by Microsoft will fail to do their job properly. This is where you will benefit from ManageEngine PATCH MANAGER Plus, being agent-based it is fast, easy to manage, and reliable. If you require functionality more than just patching, like security auditing, you have to look elsewhere.
We set alerts when a devices gets low on disk space. That is automatic and creates a ticket in ME SDP. We are then able to Add space to a VM Desktop, and then go thru ManageEngine Endpoint Central to extend the drives so the entire process can be done without interruption to the end user.
Using the patch scans we can easily see what patches have been installed for all manufacturers not just Microsoft, without having to physically go to the device. It also allows us to choose which patches we want to push out and automate the process so we can be hands off, freeing up out time for other things.
Remote access to devices. This allows us to remotely make changes, not just via remote control but also make registry changes and clean up space without going to the device and without interruption to the end user.
Alerts. We have set up to get email alerts when new hardware is plugged into any computers. This lets us know if someone is bringing in un-authorized equipment (thumb drives, hubs, etc) to better manage what is/is not on our network.
I want ManageEngine Endpoint Central to have a feature like a remote group should show systems that are not patched specially for Tuesday patches, as right now I have to manually check each system which is not patched
This is not a new feature I am asking for but I want you to revert back to the missing patches old page the current one doesn't show everything like it used to before
I would like ManageEngine Endpoint Central to have some good patching reports by remote office
ManageEngine is considered an excellent product due to its comprehensive suite of solutions for IT management, with ManageEngine Endpoint Central specifically excelling in endpoint management. The platform stands out for its user-friendly interface, robust features, and versatility in addressing diverse IT needs. It offers organizations a centralized solution for endpoint security, patch management, software deployment, and asset management
ManageEngine Endpoint Central allows us to maintain computers at different locations with ease and keep them updated. We can also push software installations or remote in if an application needs a manual installation or update. I can also work in the background with some things using tools like remote command prompt or powershell even when a user is logged in to a computer.
The overall usability for the application is great precisely for the ease of use the application provides, if i would go in a different organisation, i would suggest implementing ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus or Endpoint Central due to its features, and productivity.
The immediate chat support is great and very helpful. However, if you need escalated support or have a deeper need that the chat tool can't help with, you will experience significant wait times and slow responses. The time zone difference becomes painful to the point of often just giving up.
The support team at Patch Manager Plus has been awesome. Very responsive and knowledgeable. There are times when there is confusion between different tickets but there is still good service.
It seems that the services offered with the purchase change from what is covered to what is an additional cost. Somethings I thought we had ended up requiring an additional purchase if we wanted to continue using the feature.
We evaluated multiple endpoint management solutions before selecting ManageEngine Endpoint Central, and the main reason for choosing it was its strong patch management capabilities combined with centralized endpoint control at a competitive cost. Compared to other solutions, Endpoint Central provided a better balance of automation, ease of deployment, third-party patching, and overall management features. Its ability to efficiently handle operating system and application updates across multiple endpoints significantly reduced manual effort and improved security compliance, making it the most practical and cost-effective choice for our organization.
We were talking to Action1 and Adaptiva about their solutions of patch management. The main factor of choosing ManageEngine was pricing, which was considerably lower compared to these tools. Also, for Action1, it didn't featured some important features (like Linux patching), and it looked like a solution that is getting started in the market, even being more expensive than Patch Manager Plus.
Easier to assess the users' needs when it comes to upgrading systems
Easier to make sure we are meeting the requirements of the various users and departments without going overboard and buying systems that are much more powerful (and therefore more expensive) than is needed for a given use
ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus provides an excellent return on investment. We were able to get our systems fully patched, which we'd never been able to complete before. This provided excellent security to our organization.
ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus saved us a lot of time as most of our patching was fully automated.
ManageEngine took any issues we found and looked for solutions to further improve their product.
