Moogsoft
Chose Moogsoft
Moogsoft has the similar capabilities as of SPLUNK, MuleSoft and ServiceNow however it's a unique product in terms of its internal functioning and application framework. While ServiceNow is a SaaS application Moogsoft on the other side comes with On-Prem as well as SaaS …
Chose Moogsoft
Moogsoft is a very powerful tool and is a strong competitor for Splunk, Service Now, and other Event monitoring tools such as BMC Truesight. It is widely used by GSIs and individual product-based organizations due to fact that it is a scalable and less costly product as …
Chose Moogsoft
I think Moogsoft was one of the first players to hit the market and really have a product that was ready for consumption, however, since then, others have taken the reigns and done a lot more, enabled a lot more, and customized a lot more to fit the use cases more properly and …

The platform we looked into, no longer exists

We selected PagerDuty because it does provide monitoring of issues, incidents, outages and also it does have alert systems which is at higher standard. PagerDuty also provides calling facility for any outage scenario, the person in On-Call will get notified by a call which is …
Chose PagerDuty
We use PagerDuty only, I am not aware of any other tools similar to this.
Chose PagerDuty
Opsgenie was useful, mainly for teams already using Atlassian tools, and xMatters was good for handling team communication during incidents, but PagerDuty felt more complete for managing the full incident process in one place. We went with PagerDuty because it manages alerts, …
Chose PagerDuty
We earlier used Zabbix mainly for monitoring servers and getting alerts, and it worked well for that. But it was more focused on showing issues, not managing how teams respond to them. PagerDuty helped us handle incidents better by assigning alerts to the right person, managing …
Chose PagerDuty
PagerDuty provides indepth analysis of the system failure and it only notify one time instead of multiple times for same system failure notification.
Chose PagerDuty
We previously used to use Splunk On Call (our former tool) before we came across PagerDuty and after evaluating both of guess what we found was PagerDuty was meeting the needs we wanted to fullfill as from our collections process point of view such as automation and escalations …
Chose PagerDuty
Opsgenie is an amazing application and cheaper than PagerDuty. But PagerDuty is better with alerts and it has no downtime. PagerDuty autoamtes the work better than opsgenie.
Chose PagerDuty
Its an overall better product which has no downtime. It has the fastest incident response time and provides all the features at a competitive price.
Chose PagerDuty
Its overall better than every other tool coz it combines alerts automation analytics and ecosystem support.
Chose PagerDuty
Pager duty is better than opsgenie because it offers stronger automation, smarter incident workflows, deeper integrations and better reporting. Teams respond faster, follow consistent processes, and handle complex incidents more efficiently, making it more suitable for growing …
Chose PagerDuty
Only 1 thing, it's cheaper than OpsGenie; both eventually do the same work, but PagerDuty does it better and cheaper.
Chose PagerDuty
I haven't used it hardcore, but it was ok may be I haven't got the full gist of it, but I really think PagerDuty is really superior to it.
Chose PagerDuty
Reporting and analytics are not well comparing to PagerDuty
Chose PagerDuty
There were more features and more ways to contact the provider. Ring Central would send out a call. I don't remember sending an email or text when I was paged. It seemed it was only an app on my phone and not located on my computer, where I could access it when I was working on …
Chose PagerDuty
Based on price and need, PagerDuty was the best option
Chose PagerDuty
PagerDuty has its advantages and costs associated. We use alternative to mitigate risk of failure, priority and effectiveness.
Chose PagerDuty
Better at the immediate response workflow
Chose PagerDuty
most of the team members were familiar with pagerduty and since its battletested and widely adopted and pricing was also competitive hence we have chosen pagerduty
Chose PagerDuty
PagerDuty provides better cost to value, and also includes AI based recommendations. Overall automatons possibilities are also great with this and since we have multiple integrations as well as we cannot easily to existing systems.
For us the responsive and helpful sales team …
Chose PagerDuty

I like the PagerDuty much more than the FreshService UI. I find Freshservice to be extremly clunky and hard to use
Chose PagerDuty
Pagerduty is user adaptive and an indsutry leader in the incident managment/alerting management.

The best features of PagerDuty Operations Cloud are that it is a fairly good tool for alerting. Here is how the process works: suppose there is an XYZ server in my environment hosting a production or development application, and a primary on-call engineer has been assigned for that particular week. We have set up monitoring and observability for that node so that if the node is not reachable, an alert is triggered and sends a notification to our integrated Slack channels with PagerDuty Operations Cloud. If the engineer is available, they can acknowledge the alert. If they fail to acknowledge it, the system calls them on their provided number. If that is also not acknowledged, it sends a text message. If those actions are not acknowledged, it sends an alert to the secondary engineer and calls them as well. This multi-channel approach makes it very difficult to miss an important alert or update. PagerDuty Operations Cloud handles this process perfectly, and we do not miss any alerts because of this system.Regarding the stability of PagerDuty Operations Cloud, I cannot recall an incident where it was not available. I can say that it is 100 percent reliable for my needs.

  • Add a timer and alarms for tasks that need completed.

  • It's not always easy to include/integrate Tracealyzer in the OS build. It would be nice to have a simple install/plug n play method for our target.
  • Sometimes, the .bin files from Tracealyzer don't always work and we don't know why

Using Catalytic is dead simple, click and drag. Start simple and iterate. Once you start using the tool, you soon want to add more in and then the more you add in the higher the ROI. People will start to line up to want to use it, and realise the benefits

While we started using uCOSIII for our simpler microcontroller products, we also use QNX on more complex targets (full microprocessors) and it is a much more complex platform offering event tracing, memory tracing, and performance measures that are extremely good and integrated. More importantly these tools are fully integrated without any code changes. Tracealyzer is not integrated as much into uCOSIII like QNX's tools, debugger, etc. But, going thru the manual work of adding Tracealyzer to the build, it did help us get to a shippable product.

  • From my whole team's perspective, it allows all the agents to focus on resolving instead of continuously monitoring their systems and helps them not to chase invalid customer, which has impacted our overall floor productivity
  • A downside about PagerDuty, what I feel would be that there is very little investment in time to set up escalation rules, integration, especially for our priority accounts

  • Positive: we were able to see timing of events in the sw/hw that we couldn't otherwise see.
