PerformYard, headquartered in Arlington, VA, providesperformance management software aimed at providing features for HR and a simple employee experience. It offers HR teams tools to build out any performance management strategy so employees get a streamlined experience so they can focus on quality feedback and effective performance discussions.
You can track developer's task from HR perspective, than means, as manager you don't want to have the technical description around what the developer is doing, just to have a brief visualization of the current work. With it you can follow how your resources are felling with …
Lattice is definitely better for larger companies and those who have previous use cases with a performance management system. 15Five is great for companies that are just starting out.
15Five was more customizable and fit our under 50 employee team better for what we needed - a system for manager/employee one on ones, company wide as well as individual goal setting, performance reviews, reminders, and recognition (high fives). It was convenient and easier to …
Visually 15Five blows Yammer out of the water! Yammer was easy to use as well, but it felt very difficult to get on to and was not single sign-on when we were using it. 15Five allows for easy login with single sing on feature and has less "clicks" to get to where I need to be …
15Five is much more user friendly than the Workday goal setting and check in capabilities. 15Five is more real-time and allows users goals to be more fluid and agile when business objectives change. 15Five also has much more functionality in terms of goal settings, weekly check …
I have worked in Fortune leading companies, small start ups and leading healthcare organizations of every size and stature over the last 30 years. Never have I had a program I loved and looked forward to each week like 15Five. There is no comparison!
We use each platform differently. We use Asana to make long-term and short-term priorities and assign each team member to specific tasks. Each task has different due dates spread out over a period of time. We use 15Five for individual weekly objectives and as a tool to check-in …
I've used both lattice & 15Five. They both have their pros and cons but ultimately I feel that 15Five is more user-friendly and easier to understand for my employees.
I only have experience with 15Five in this capacity, and it was amazing. I really miss using this tool and I hope that we will have an option to get it back in our future; especially now that we have expanded and grown our number of staff that works on this project.
I've used asana and jira. Jira has too much functionality for a team like ours and asana didn't have enough gamification for our team. At the end we chose 15Five because it was simple to use and easy to follow, it also allowed the manager to review each individual on the team …
I have never encountered another service or product that provides the same level of insight that 15Five affords, coupled with such a fluid and user-friendly experience. From the lowest-level employee all the way up the corporate ladder, there is a lot of value to be gained from …
15Five has been more comprehensive and covers all facets of our business. Facebook Workplace served as more of an overall collaborative business tool with opportunities to post quotes and articles to share.
bananaTag now has the built-in capabilities to include employee pulse surveys, which I love. 15Five is a little more direct as our manager required us to fill out the internal feedback section weekly.
Specialized in performance management, easier to roll out and use than other products, the service, and people at 15Five are top-notch. The ease of doing business with 15Five is high.
15Five has been a much better solution for our team. The feature suite is much broader and we found that Khorus at the time had a very subjective approach to measuring Objectives and Key Results. 15Five does so much more with one-on-ones, employee health, and performance …
Well i cant really describe how PerformYard stacks up against them because there is no comparison here. PerformYard as blown these of the water no doubt about it. with everything from customer service to ease of use of the platforms. hands down PerformYard is the goto service …
I wouldn't be able to compare PerformYard to other tools but based on simplicity and user friendly that PerformYard is representing as a tool for Company's employees to set up goals and assessments, PerformYard represents very soli and user friendly tool. I'd assume that …
PerformYard is in its own class for employee monitoring and reviewing of employee, goals and expectations. As a midsize business, you cannot just implement change once in a while you need to document and review plans and progress within departments and amongst individual …
We demoed Trakstar Performance Management Software when we were initially looking for this type of program. PerformYard overall just had more options and a better user feel to their system. The service from the reps who worked with us in the beginning also was a big selling …
PerformYard is much more specialized for feedback, where the rest seemed to add it as a lesser feature. I wanted a tool that’s built around making it easier to both give standardized feedback as well as receive and review it. This has helped streamline our practices and …
The original system we used was pen and paper that was manually tracked within our payroll system. That was aweful. ADP was extrememly buggy with lost data on far too many occassions resulting in having to start over. Very frustrating and inefficient. Access to individual's …
With our previous program, we never received automatic notifications, only manual notifications from hr, which made it difficult to keep track of performance review deadlines, resulting in overdue reviews. PerformYard keeps you informed of your review deadlines, upcoming …
There was no comparison for us between Viewpoint, BirdDogHR, and PerformYard. Where these two systems lacked reporting functionality, administrative ease, and ongoing goal management - PerformYard really focused on these three. The sales team dove into each of these areas and …
The PeformYard review is much more streamlined than Workday's and give users the ability to give feedback in a much faster and efficient timeframe whereas on WorkDay it was a very long and drawn out process to not only get the review done but also get it properly signed off and …
PerformYard is the only system we used. PerformYard has helped us achieve our goal to make the review/continuous feedback process easier and more meaningful for the company. I would highly recommend any other companies to utilize the PerformYard system. The is flexible enough …
PerformYard is better for long-term goals, whereas Asana is preferable for short-term goals. Both are very collaborative. The PerformYard interface is more professional and serious than Asana (I like Asana's playfulness). PerformYard is for personal goals, Asana is for project …
I believe if your managers can't make time to have in-person or live check-ins with their employees, the 15Five surveys and tools can create a semblance of care and follow-up, but many employees resent how impersonal it is. If you are able to have more face-to-face interactions or Zoom one-on-ones, those are almost always better-received by employees.
It is an online system that we were able to use to create our evaluation forms. Once our HR person triggers that you have to do an evaluation of someone you will receive emails reminding you that you have to do it. In addition we can set them with due dates. Telling managers that they are being evaluated on making sure they give staff timely evaluations has really helped getting them to do them. In our first year some of the managers got "dinged" for not providing feedback to their staff and they were not happy about it. Now it isn't a problem. In addition the "quick feedback" is a game changer.
The more business units and teams you adopt consistently using 15five, the more you see the full value.
Reporting - it would be helpful to see an entire org chart breakdown of the goals hit/missed at the end of each quarter.
Recommendations - focus points/alerts on OKRs that aren't progressing and auto-generated action items you should take would be really useful functionality.
Connecting multiple sites where information is stored to the progress you are updating with the PerformYard site would be beneficial. Less work doubling efforts at times.
Attachment options on your goals would give you a quick place to use for a reference. For instance, goal to increase sales by certain percentage annually could benefit from an attached document showing those number increases with 1 file attachment.
This program is the absolute best I've ever used in 30 years with organizations. Not only do I enjoy being a user and "filling it out" every week- but I would personally buy it if available for goal tracking in my personal life I love it that much!
It has been excellent among the employees. It is a great way to keep up with the tasks and goals throughout the year. Manager/employee communication can increase with this program. It is very easy to use and understand. Navigation can be a bit tricky but the overall ease of going through it is splendid.
The platform is too easy for use, you will find by hand all the main tools and the interface put in front of you what you need without enter to define or open complex options to add things.
No, you just need to open a new report and start to type things, the system automatically will start to add fields or show the desired options based on your current context.
Everything is very easy to understand except more training is needed on how to use the reporting feature. You are assigned an account manager who walks you through every step of the process when you sign on to use PerformYard.
15Five support is quick and helpful. We work with other vendors in the people management space and performance tracking/management who offshore their support or force us into long queues to chat for support and it just doesn't support our needs very well. 15Five is responsive and speedy. We constantly evaluate our vendors for their support and have switched vendors in the past in other areas because of limited support capabilities
The support from PerformYard is unmatched when compared to other systems I have worked with. Not to say that the support personnel always have an immediate answer, but they are so committed to solution and timeliness that it is not long before we are able to work through any issues. Emails are quickly returned for ease of access, and they never fail to offer to hop on a call and visually walk through something if that may help the issue!
Very helpful webinar training. They answer questions, the slides are all very helpful, and they send you the presentation once the webinar is complete so that you can share with your team.
Training for PerformYard was fantastic and very easy to understand! I highly recommend this product to any company. It is super helpful for communicating with staff, for keeping track of your goals, tasks and reviews for the current (or past) year. Definitely get online training for implementation. You won't regret it!
Our Human Resources department handled the implementation of PerformYard and they did a fantastic job. A tutorial was sent out via email to all employees with a requirement of viewing it. In additionto that, a ZOOM session was scheduled so that any questions or concerns could be answered after viewing the tutorial.
15Five was more customizable and fit our under 50 employee team better for what we needed - a system for manager/employee one on ones, company wide as well as individual goal setting, performance reviews, reminders, and recognition (high fives). It was convenient and easier to have all these functionalities in one tool. Integration with Slack was also key to keep it visible to our team day to day.
PerformYard is in its own class for employee monitoring and reviewing of employee, goals and expectations. As a midsize business, you cannot just implement change once in a while you need to document and review plans and progress within departments and amongst individual employees so that you can see the most success. Perform yard, really focuses in on that and makes it very easy to document and implement processes and procedures and expectations from the company to the employees.
