It's definitely an improvement over our old Enhancements list that anyone could add to and just collected dust on a Share drive. ProdPad allows ideas to be sorted and archived, plus let's people comment on ideas - so it's pretty obvious is something is a good idea with lots of support or just some crackpot theory.

productboard is a fantastic piece of software for capturing product insights. I use it frequently very week to update suggestions for the product for new features. I also use it for enhancement suggestions. When speaking to customers or prospects, if it comes to light that there are features or changes that they would like to see within our software, I log and record these through Insights. Its a great place to capture this information. It provides me a platform to ensure that this information is accurately captured and I can be confident that it will be addressed in an appropriate manner and not get ignored.

With ProductPlan you have the ability to manage a project with a totally objective simplicity, it is enough to have a few tasks, organize them, assign the work team that will be performing the respective tasks, customize the route and that's it. ProductPlan is rich in features to get a good project management without having a great learning curve to be able to use this platform, big or small, whether it is very deep or with basic tasks.

I'd like to see a better way to handle archived/won't do/already released feedback or ideas so that you have a bit of a history of requests and what has happened to them.

Excellent quick response from team members, great opportunities to engage in design discussions for upcoming features, never had a bug last long or go unresolved. Overall, support is one of the best parts of working with ProdPad.

There are very few problems that we have had with this platform, but from the technical support it has solved everything immediately, from errors with the page to small questions of use. We have simply had a quick response without a hitch when needing help from the ProductPlan support team.

We were just capturing ideas in an Excel workbook, but that forced ownership to a single user for changes and updates and there wasn't any direct integration with project backlog. We actually didn't select ProdPad, a new VP came and brought it with him because it worked so well at his last place. Everybody here jumped on board, though.

Productboard is leaner, easier to use, and cleaner than Aha! I switched from Aha! to productboard and did not regret the decision. Aha! may be better suited to larger operations or teams, but productboard is perfect for smaller teams and solo product managers.

ProductPlan is a direct competitor to Aha!. Whereas JIRA and Trello are for mostly handling the operational tasks, ProductPlan and Aha! are for strategizing. ProductPlan is very well suited to give straight communication on what to achieve in the future and why. JIRA and Trello are the tools managing how to achieve those tasks.
