Publer vs. Trustpilot

Where Publer is well suited: + Organisation of multiple social media accounts for when you have multiple brands + The integration of Google Maps makes it easy to organise multiple locations + Calendar with a nice overview makes it easy to see your social media planning for the following period of time Where it is less suited for: - Comparing competition and ideal posting time is quite a surplus in cost - No native Dutch version

Unfortunately, Trustpilot's disingenuous pricing habits and communication methods are the reason we ultimately ended our 3 year relationship with the company. In 2023, we signed a 1 year agreement for their basic plan (product reviews, Q&A, etc) at $3,800/year... Fair enough. In 2024, the price jumps to $5,040/year... Okay, steep - but we're still seeing good use of the tools, sort of justified? For 2025 it skyrockets to $8,976/year (+78% from prior)... But, after a month of haggling and threats to cancel, they 'graciously' drop it to $7,569/year. Now for 2026, Trustpilot is demanding $9,576/year for the EXACT SAME PLAN. That's a 152% increase since we started, with zero added value.

• A unified drag-and-drop calendar with genuine native previews allows us to bulk-upload images or videos, shuffle posts between dates and platforms, and see exactly how each platform (FB, IG, TikTok, Threads, etc.) will display before we hit “Schedule.”
• Role-based approvals that streamline teamwork: interns draft, managers approve, and the audit trail ensures that nothing inconsistent slips through.
• Quick-glance analytics built right into the calendar, surface engagement spikes, best-time suggestions and post-level stats without exporting to another tool, so we can tweak campaigns on the spot.

• Completing the review for the customer is a simple process which enables us to receive more feedback.
• The Trustpilot account management team is a true partner working with each department to help with adoption across the company.
• The Trustpilot development team is a trusted partner with our own internal development team, assisting them with implementation as well as integration with their API.

• Some IG features are currently missing, like syncing with trending sounds, but I think that's more of an API limitation than a fault with Publer
• The website interface can be a bit challenging to navigate. It isn't quite as intuitive as I'd like with where things are placed.
• Some of the terms are confusing, like "recycling" and "recurring." I wish they'd combine these two particular posting options into one.
• I'd also love to see better integration with my personalized AI, trained on my business.

The menu is very clear. The big green button for adding a post makes it obvious where to post from. There are all the tools I might need for scheduling, and more. I gave a 9 instead of 10 because I find the "Explore" menu to be superfluous for the way I use Publer and feel it adds clutter to the experience. But honestly - I can just not go to that menu and it's fine.

Simple user interface - easy to understand with high level overviews, but also getting into the detail with questions for those who want it. The only issue I have is the connection with LinkedIn - sometimes it fails and makes you re-enter details again which can be a bit frustrating!

The pages do load very quick but in the the iPad form

Every time I have contacted Publer, I get answers right away

I've rarely had issues and needed support. During the implementation phase we relied on their support heavily and they were very knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. Any questions I've had have been answered promptly by my account manager. They also have a great knowledgebase for self-service support.

In our opinion, Sendible is poorly designed and takes too many menus, clicks, opens and closes to perform a simple task. Their pricing structure changes suddenly with price increases and loss of seats. Socialbee was a contender but had restraints for a multi brand company that we did not want to workaround.

Selected Trustpilot because of superior integration with the website and Google SERPS. Again, my only complaint would be Trustpilot was relatively more expensive than the other technologies.

I just used the web integration

I think this is well designed product. I really enjoy that I am able to learn it quick, integrate all the socials very easily

• I can on-charge the price of the subscription within my package, so I can charge it out for what I want, allowing me to make some profit
• Every one of my clients has loved using it, so they are more inclined to keep using our social media services
• Publer helps my business to look professional
