Overall Satisfaction with Trustpilot

It is used to measure our customer success and marketing. We are able to understand our customer experience. Since we are in the lead generation space; we can learn which of our partners are delivering. Additionally, it increases our visibility on search engines. TP offers great graphics for marketing assets.
  • Search engine results.
  • Generate graphics of reviews.
  • Flagging reviews capability.
  • Removing inaccurate/faulty reviews. It's hard to talk to people about removing some inaccurate reviews.
  • Product reviews should be visible on search engines too.
  • Review requests email templates are not the best.
  • Helps us to determine what our customers care about.
  • We have been able to modify our marketing points based on what customers seemed confused about or the aspects of our business that they appreciate.
There have been reviews that should have been removed, and once flagged, you can not communicate with your account manager or anyone in compliance to assist you. They simply return the review to online, and that's it.

Do you think Trustpilot delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Trustpilot's feature set?

No

Did Trustpilot live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Trustpilot go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Trustpilot again?

Yes

It should only be available for verified reviews. It is easy for anonymous or disgruntled customers to leave nasty reviews. It can be expensive for a small business to exist on this platform. I would not recommend inviting a customer on their first purchase/ service, but after several purchases.

Using Trustpilot

2 - Customer Service, SEO, and Marketing all benefit, and borrow, from Trustpilot. We are able to improve the products we offer based on what customers mention in their Trustpilot review and work on any gaps in our advertising copy. Trustpilot is typically one of the first results people see when they search for our business.
2 - Not much skill is required. We just log in and follow up or respond to the feedback that customers provide us.
  • Customer service: More people complain on Trustpilot than any of our other platforms ie. email, chat, and phone.
  • Search engine results: Trustpilot tends to be one of the top few results on Google searches.
  • Marketing: We can highlight the features that customers mention enjoying most.
  • Being able to improve our marketing copy.
It's expensive and customer service is not the best.
