Satmetrix (discontinued) vs. SurveyMonkey Apply

Satmetrix is best suited if you don't currently use Salesforce. A lot of its main selling points are negated by the virtue of having Salesforce. Case management is in Salesforce, reporting is in Salesforce, the structure that NPX imposes is actually clunky and unwieldy, and is much more streamlined on competing platforms such as GetFeedback and SurveyMonkey. The only thing that leaves is the consultative service on being best practice and I don't really get to see any of that.

If you are looking for a software that let's you create online forms seamlessly and also minimizes your company's work flow then this is the correct way to go. It has allowed us to get accurate response and also has helped us save enough time compared to when we're still using other softwares.

• Ease of use; SaaS solution, all web based - simple, straightforward and easy to use
• Multi lingual; we are able to use multiple languages for our surveys
• Reporting is very flexible; reports can be run for pretty much any data point that you can capture!

• SurveyMonkey Apply has the best customer service I've ever experienced in a company. They are easily accessible, super helpful and friendly, and they will work until they are able to find a solution.
• The platform for building an application on SurveyMonkey Apply is simple for the user. It's set up with such a clean format that is appealing to the eye and incredibly user-friendly.
• The application system also has a lot of flexibility, making it easy to customize your applications as needed.

• Implementation did not go as well as planned and there were problems.
• If you are running multiple surveys, slicing and dicing data is not that simple.

• An average administration may not have the technical capabilities to adapt and shape it for themselves. While SurveyMonkey Apply has an option for tech support for a price, it is not something always easy for the admin.
• There is no way to cross reference users by Social Security Number or other identifier. In other words, a single applicant with multiple email addresses could potentially apply and receive benefits as the users are tied to email address not email address and SSN.

The previous experience was so negative that even if they have improved since then it wouldn't help. Another more pertinent reason is because we have an existing 3 year contract with Medallia. Lastly, vendor transitions in our environment (B2B in 132 countries) is extremely painful. I've managed two of them and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

I haven't evaluated any other products. Our executive team selected NPS as the preferred measurement of customer sentiment and Satmetrix is the only certification company I am aware of.

We think that Submittable is the top platform available and will continue to use it for our clients. The start-to-finish platform makes our workflow smarter and more efficient, leading to better decisions and bigger impact. We are always looking for new programs and when we landed on Submittable, we were sold.

• With the knowledge gained front he transactional surveys, Satmetrix helped us significantly improve our customer service processes.
• Combined with the relationship survey, we were ultimately able to improve our customer retention by over 20% within 2 years.

• Positive Impact: allowed us to move to a more virtual office, just in time for COVID's forcing all to work from home/remotely.
• Negative Impact: made it much harder to capture all data we need to merge with all applicants since organization created.
