Webex Calling
Considered Both Products
Webex Calling
Chose Webex Calling
It's far far secure when compared to the other two rest everything is almost similar. In free version Google Meet has unlimited meeting length. For me Webex Calling is all about security. The interface is also very good and professional, directory part is well functional so all …
Chose Webex Calling
The document sharing is better than Microsoft, and the calling features are more well done.
Chose Webex Calling
One single piece of software that also pairs with industry leading hardware for calling and collaboration. Webex combines the best of both worlds, you can use it on and off site from various devices and options , like mobile app, web browser as well as hardware and have a …
Chose Webex Calling
Webex Calling has a lot better integrations with third party apps than the rest. It's ease of use for users can't be beat and the admin control hub makes it a breeze to manage from an admin point of view.
Chose Webex Calling
We opted for Webex Calling because it is more secure than the other platforms. Also, when in calls, it does not have a limit for the number of people we have, I experienced in the other platforms that there is a time limit on the calls you can make depending on the number of …
Chose Webex Calling
Webex stacks up great against other services as it provides quality and clear audio and video while on calls, against other products that we use it provides a superior collaboration experience as it has greater video sharing capabilities than other products. It also shine at …
Chose Webex Calling
Webex calling is the best!!! Worth the upgrade
Chose Webex Calling
Webex Calling does very well against all their competitors. Its strength is integration with Call manager, enterprise feature set, End to End Encryption, their own phones. Most vendors use third party phones and gateways which creates extra overhead in management. Having a …
Chose Webex Calling
Have more advance feature for a business and Integrated great for Contact Center services.
Chose Webex Calling
Webex Calling was our next step in cloud and move away from on-premise and we are pleased with the transition
Chose Webex Calling
Webex calling has more professional UI and is better for organizations where as ZOOM is better for schools and Educational institutions. Zoom is better in terms of functionality as it requires lower bandwidth of network to work properly. All in all Webex calling is better …
Chose Webex Calling
I found the quality of the product good also it suits to our requirements well.
Chose Webex Calling
Because of all the features and setting other products don't have. the possibility to have a space for communicating with all our colleagues through chat, audios, calls, and videocalls. It's the best app
Chose Webex Calling
I have used Zoom before and found the software and user interface much better. It simply seems more modern and less immature. Of course Zoom has bugs and is not perfect software, but from my point of view it is much better than Webex.
Chose Webex Calling
Webex compares pretty well against Teams, however due to the nature of our organisation and data being held within SharePoint/OneDrive. Teams provides a better solution for our internal users.
However for external users as Teams is not federated and locked down, Webex works much …
Chose Webex Calling
The differences between both software can be marginal in some aspects, but for the campaign in a proffessional level it was a clear win to Webex due the quality and security of the platform, being a Cisco
Chose Webex Calling
As discussed in the prior portion of this review, Jabber is used in conjunction with webex, not in place of it. Jabber allows for intra-firm communications via instant messaging and calls and allows users to manage calls and voicemails over computer and via email/app from …
Chose Webex Calling
We did not find GTM very user-friendly, and our package at the time did not have as many tools as Webex Calling does.
Chose Webex Calling
By using Webex Calling, it's not only the call facility that I can get. I also get feature messages, events, and many applications that can be integrated with Webex meetings. And what I know is that Zoom is only useful for holding meetings. There is no OBTP (one button to push) …
Chose Webex Calling
I was familiar with Vonage, but if you can compare with Webex Calling, I preferred Webex Calling which is better than other apps like zoom meeting, and Vonage.

Cisco
The audio is very clear, but when the two devices are close, there is considerable noise. Also the calling is quite expensive considering that there are countless free tools available which provide the same features. Call recording is an add on so there you need to think about whether it's worth purchasing or not. Also that it can be used on multiple devices with the app makes things easier. For small scale corporates and teams it's all good, but with respect to its competitors bringing so much on plate and that too for free, I rate it 6/10.

Pros
Cisco
  • For example, with WebEx calling, it's an offer which include many features of each on-prem server and every features are included in WebEx calling. So that's something which is very appreciated by customer because they don't have to buy each server like it was the case. They just buy WebEx calling and they have many features. Even if they don't need it, they have it and we can give them the notice to use them and they can use it and they are very happy with this software.

Cons
Cisco
  • It might be that we didn't have this package, but transcription capabilities were not included.
  • Sometimes, using Webex Calling would make my computer and other programs run slow
  • If screens were being shared, it required a lot of bandwidth and sometimes froze or glitched.

Usability
Cisco
It is a very easy product to deploy and configure and to really take advantage of. It does not matter if you are using it in an office or your home, or for a security office or a collaboration meeting room - you have the right endpoint available for each case and the configuration parameters to improve the functionality you need.

Support Rating
Cisco
I have been working for a long time with Cisco as a provider and also Cisco TAC and Cisco Support Engineers. The support starts right beforehand in the documentation of the product you are interested in. From the start you have a good, complete, and detailed and easy to read datasheet and there's always someone available to answer any questions.

Alternatives Considered
Cisco
The differences between both software can be marginal in some aspects,
but for the campaign in a proffessional level it was a clear win to
Webex due the quality and security of the platform, being a Cisco
product has more impact on the final decision, and in the end the
overall experience has been great, having used Twilio in the past, that
last part is my personal opinion.

Return on Investment
Cisco
  • I don't make decisions on ROI, but Webex Calling is used quite widely in the organization.
  • The ease of calling definitely makes it easy to coordinate across teams and geographies.
  • Good performance in low bandwidth situations means that employees with lower bandwidths don't necessarily need to upgrade internet speeds to have video calling.
