The cost of this software is very small compared to other authoring tools and is affordable enough for me to own my own license! … Although it may not have all the bells and whistles Adobe Premiere Pro has or the flexibility of Storyline 360, for the amount of money it cost, you can still do some pretty amazing things with this...

Some might be put off by the cost, but capabilities are worth it. … Both offer free versions but the costs associated with those will surpass the cost of Camtasia and they do not offer as many tools or options.
