What is Entendo?

Entendo is a conversational business intelligence platform that turns plain-language questions into charts and numbers — without SQL, BI specialists, or weeks of setup. Built for Brazilian mid-market companies (50–300 employees), Entendo connects directly with XSLX/CSV to PostgreSQL, MySQL , SQL Server and Oracle databases — typically behind ERPs such as Totvs Protheus, SAP Business One, Bling, or Omie — and lets any decision-maker ask a question in natural language and get an answer in under 30 seconds.

How It Works
Entendo runs a multi-agent NL-to-SQL pipeline composed of seven specialized AI agents, with intelligent routing and automatic retry. When a user asks a question, the system grounds itself in the database schema, generates the SQL, validates the reasoning, executes the query in read-only mode, and renders the appropriate chart. Every answer exposes the generated SQL and the agent thought process, so users can verify how a number was produced rather than trust the AI blindly.

Key Capabilities
- Native language understanding — handles business vocabulary on the first try, not via translation
- Read-only by design — four security layers, zero mutation, complete audit logs
- Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) — multi-provider LLM support, so customer data is not locked into a single AI vendor
- Transparent reasoning — every response shows the SQL and the chain of thought behind it
- Sub-5-minute setup — connect a database and ask the first question in minutes, not months

Who It Is For
Entendo is designed for CEOs, CFOs, sales leaders, and BI analysts at mid-market companies (R$10M–R$100M annual revenue) across retail, financial , services, healthcare, logistics, and professional services. It is built to absorb the repetitive ad-hoc data requests that BI analysts handle manually today, freeing them for strategic analysis while giving non-technical executives direct access to their own data.

The vendor provided Accuracy and Performance benchmarks:
- 85–98% NL-to-SQL accuracy with retry (internal benchmark)
- Under 5 minutes from signup to first insight
- Cost per answered question of approximately $ 0.05-$ 0.30, compared with $25–500 for traditional alternatives that require analyst time

Pricing
Entendo offers a free tier (5 users, 30 queries), Starter at US$30/month, Pro at US$70/month, Business at US$150/month, and a custom Enterprise plan.

Screenshot of where users can upload a spreadsheet or CSV, connect their own SQL database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle), or sync tables from a cloud service like Google Sheets. File upload is the recommended path for first-time users who want to evaluate the product on their own data before connecting production systems.

The architecture is read-only by design with four layers of SQL sanitization, so the AI agents can never write, update, or delete data.

In this view, the AI is responding about a pessimistic scenario: a revenue line chart on top, headline KPIs in the middle (current revenue, scenario impact, variation percentage), and a comparative bar chart at the bottom. Everything is generated live from the connected database.
Screenshot of the Business Analytics Agent responding to a real question: "show me an analysis of the actions being continuously taken to grow revenue by 30%." Instead of dumping a chart, the agent delivers a structured diagnosis — overall picture, central problem, root-cause hypothesis, and concrete actions — grounded in the user's own data.

This example shows a wholesale operations dashboard with four views: weekly sales by day, top products by unit, critical stock products, and inventory turnover ratio. Dashboards are shareable across the workspace, so the whole team sees the same numbers.
