The free version is best suited to small businesses starting on a small budget and has enough to start, but the price jump to Professional is reasonably priced, however, it does not include some... … They could have a version in between the free and professional in the $29 range Contend Library not available until the Business Plan which is a substantial cost.

Since its free it will have a positive ROI from a hard cost perspective but if you find yourself wasting your time trying to get it to load then there is a negative ROI on your time.

The free plan or professional plan ($348 a year) are great for your basic needs. … The points system is confusing and leads to expensive reports Forced to use their proprietary URL shorteners, which are also expensive Gets expensive for teams.

While Hootsuite offers several packages, marketing bundles, services, and add-ons, to accommodate larger companies at an enterprise level also- - the Pro package is perfect for small to mid-level... … The analytic capabilities exist in Hootsuite, but the Pro package doesn't offer enough reports to handle extensive analytic reporting needed for future planning.

Larger companies who have more than three social media profiles and have a budget to run contests and ad campaigns I would recommend upgrading to a pro version and looking to hire a part-time/... … We needed a low cost solution, free is definitely low cost, I heard about Hootsuite from online blogs I follow, and searched on the web more about it.

But what I do say is that I "use a program that saves me a lot of time by allowing me to schedule posts in advance." When it comes to ROI, using one client for an example, comparing what I pay and... … I feel like pro is the best value for me.

The cost is more within our budget and ease of use is similar in both products so we chose Hootsuite over Sprout as affordable for our basic news, but we hope to grow with Hootsuite and be a larger...
