We use Image Relay to store our digital assets, organize them sensibly, and to share them in a variety of ways. We know our digital media is only as good as how easy it is to find it, keep it updated, and share it, so Image Relay has proven to be critical in making that happen.
  • Storage of Images and Video
  • Tagging and Identification of Assets
  • Easy Organization of Assets
  • Sharing of Assets
  • It took some getting used to seeing that top bar when I need additional options for a selected asset, so the only improvement I can think of is making that pop more when I select an asset and want to share it or something.
Image Relay is intelligently designed for any marketer, especially if your products require a library of images and video and especially if you feel like your team could use some quality onboarding to make sure everything is set up right and to make sure your team is equipped to use the software effectively. Specifically speaking, since we have so many products and we're building a bigger direct relationship with customers, it was important that we have an easy way to store and access assets that can represent those products and resonate with potential customers. Image Relay also made it really easy to group assets for sharing with influencers and other marketing partners. Dropbox and Google Drive may have their place and their functionalities that set them apart, so it's important to not look at Image Relay like one of those older document services storage spaces — though those companies could learn a lot from how Image Relay helps marketers enrich their assets and store them smartly.

We use Image Relay to organize our creative assets and for easier collaboration working as a fully remote team. We have multiple team members that need to access our large library of assets and a quick way to find what they need. Image Relay makes it easy to tag photos, videos, and deliverables for a quick search. Everything is very customizable so we were able to create tag sets to search our library for specific product shots, lifestyle shots, or even the time of year. This makes it much easier to find the perfect image for creating ads, and updating our catalog, or website. We no longer have to dig through folders and manually search through thousands of assets to find what we need.
  • Onboarding
  • Keeping things simple
  • Customization
  • Integrates with Adobe
  • The Adobe integration is currently being worked on so I would say that needs improvement but they are already tackling that!
  • Copy paste feature for metadata
Image Relay is perfect for a creative team that is putting out a lot of content and always creating more. It works great with freelancers and has customizable access for different groups of individuals. I have not seen the PIM side of things with Image Relay. Management chose a different system for our PIM but it was prior to learning about Image Relay. The system we have for PIM seemed more robust for syndicating to multiple channels, however, it does not have the collaboration a creative team needs as Image Relay does.

We use Image Relay to organize our media assets and share those assets, both inside our organization and with external partners. It has made our collection of photographs, infographics, and videos a lot more accessible for everyone, resulting in better use of their assets.
  • Organise your digital assets
  • Manage users and their user rights, resulting in better control over your digital assets
  • Sharing files with people outside our organisation is incredibly easy
  • Collaborating on collections with colleagues
  • The Adobe plugins could perform better
  • Tagging multiple files (vs individually or all files) during upload would be nice
  • Displaying more than 100 files per page would be handy
If you're looking for a DAM that's suitable for both small and medium-sized organizations, Image Relay is the perfect solution. It centralizes your assets and makes browsing your collection easy. It's easy to use and new users don't need too much training.

We use Image Relay to store photos and documents for our Licensing, Marketing and Public Relations focused consulting company. Given we have a fairly high number of clients and prospective clients our challenge is keeping a large (and growing) number of files (photos, documents) in one easy-to-mage space where team members can quickly and easily access the data. We are a fast-growing company with a lot of moving parts. Image Relay minimizes confusion, enhances our information security, and makes it easy to store and share critical files.
  • Enables us to organize a large number of files in an easy-to-use format
  • Keeps our files safe. Much of the work we do is private until our partners approve of our marketing going public so file security is critical to our operation.
  • Image Relay makes it easy for our team to track and access a wide range of files - especially photos and contracts.
  • I am hard-pressed to find anything lacking or needs improvement
Image Relay makes it easy for us to store Photos, Contracts, and Documents that need to be seen and shared by our team of 6 employees. I don't see any scenarios where it is less appropriate than any other available options. In fact, I think it is superior to all other database-type platforms on the market. Easy-to-use, clean and simple interface and the best customer service I have ever experienced.

We use Image Relay as a way to hold photos taken across the university. This prevents my office from receiving requests daily to get access to photos for them to use for promotional items. Otherwise, we'd spend all of our time getting photos for other employees to use. This allows a hands-off approach and a platform to easily access what you need, even if you aren't in the communications and marketing office.
  • Expiration Capability
  • Search Capability
  • User Friendly
  • Tagging people in photos
  • Way to connect name changes (ex. when the name of an office changes)
Image Relay is great for providing easily accessible photos. We store images elsewhere for our purposes and we mostly use Image Relay as a front-facing storage container for photos. It allowed us to share an extensive collection of photos from an event with our entire school through a link which students really appreciated.

We were having issues organizing the images and sharing them with our customers. We now feel up to date and way more effective. Sharing 100 images does not take 2 seconds instead of 2 hours. Looking for certain images was also a horrible process. Now with the Image Relay search tool and filter, the process is really easy, fast, and enjoyable. I no longer have fear when a customer asks for different images.
  • Organizing images.
  • Search
  • Sharing with others
  • Nothing for now
  • Everything looks great from my point of view
  • Love the product so far
Since we are working with a lot of different stores, we need to share different images with all of them. Last week I had to share between 50 and 75 images with a customer. All I had to is to select the folder I wanted to share with them, copy the link, and put it in an email. They can download it by themselves and if I make some changes to the images, they always have the latest version with the same link.

I use image relay to find photos, videos, and product information created by other teams. The Canadian division is separate from the other divisions so we don't get notified when there are new assets to both current and new products. Image replay gives me a central source to find everything I need without having to search or reach out to multiple different people.
  • Central location for all digital and video assets
  • Very easy to navigate
  • Provides different formats for the assets
  • It would be great if you could format the size of the photo's posted before downloading them
For companies that work in different countries or cities, it's so important to have a central database for all assets. As well as something that is easily accessible and easy to use.

I use Image Relay to store and share all the company assets. Very useful for us as we can share our assets easily with others in an easy manner. We share our photos, videos, collaterals, guidelines, and corporate stuff. Our clients are both local and abroad. Great tool for the company.
  • You can upload very quickly and easily.
  • You can arrange your assets as per your requirements.
  • Set permissions.
  • Copy or drag an image directly from a preview.
  • Review the homepage.
  • Drag and drop to folders to arrange.
Very professional company, they reply very fast to any questions or information. Enough storage and bandwidth space. Helps you with their demo. A good platform for companies to store and share their assets mainly if you are marketing your products. Maybe review the pricing because I think this can be helpful for small companies also to be able to use this tool.

I use Image Relay as unlimited storage for files (including very large video files) and to keep things organized. In the past we did not have a storage system that was unlimited and an easy way to share files between people, so Image Relay has fixed that issue.
  • Image Relay keeps things organized well
  • It's SO easy to create upload links and send them to people when you need materials from them. I love that you are emailed when someone uploads to a folder you created.
  • The support team is great at Image Relay too—I've rarely had any problems, but when I do or have questions they respond very quickly!
  • I haven't really run into anything yet that needs major improvement
I am creating videos where the base of the video is interview-based. I cannot travel to each individual, so Image Relay allows me to create upload folders and send the link to people and have them upload their videos for me to easily download and use in a feature piece. Internally, Image Relay has the function of keeping files private so sensitive folders are only accessible to certain departments or team leads like me.

We've invested numerous hours researching the right DAM solution for our needs. Focused on managing a growing multiple criteria user base, we've outgrown google drive and dropbox as a DAMish solution. We've looked into other solutions such as Widen, Bynder, Canto, Brandfolder, Photoshelter, and Intelligence Bank. This has been the easiest and most comprehensive/cleanest onboarding process in comparison to all of my onboarding experiences with other software solutions. James, our Image Relay librarian is very solutions-oriented in his position and understands the capability of the system very well and how we can best use the system for our needs. Wish all other SAAS companies would follow in their footsteps. The UI is designed well with the primary users' and daily admins' usage ease in mind. We are just starting to use this software and going live now. Onboarding delays (due to our team not having all assets initially properly tagged) took approximately 5 months. If coming from a more established system, I can see onboarding being completed in a matter of weeks. As of this review date, I would highly recommend Image Relay to colleagues.
  • Onboarding Process is very clear
  • Expectations are all met
  • Knowledgeable support team
  • none at the moment. Image relay meets all our current needs
The onboarding experience is the gold standard I would tell all other SAAS companies to follow

I use Image Relay to access the different media assets for creating any content related to the product I manage. Image Relay is easy to interact and it helps to keep all the assets organized. I usually access pdfs, images, and videos.
  • Organizing Assets
  • Structure of Concent
  • Upload/Download is efficient
  • Different views or access to the asset on the main page
Image Relay is well suited if you work with a creative department or agency that enables media for you. This allows you to have access to all the elements you need, without losing quality over the content you work on. Another great feature is that the Image Relay repositories can be managed by the Design/Marketing team so that the users can always consume the correct information.

We use Image Relay to manage all of our digital assets, photos, and documents. We have more than 30 employees who use Image Relay to easily search and share our digital files for both internal and external use.
  • Massive file storage capabilities with multiple daily backups of data.
  • Easy organization and management of files.
  • Fast and efficient search capabilities.
  • Excellent training and customer service.
  • We just started working with Image Relay a month ago. So far, we've encountered no issues that would prompt recommendations for improvements.
The initial upload of more than 3 terabytes of files - photos and documents - went very smoothly. Image Relay provided an SFTP portal for the larger, bulk file transfers. You do want to make sure you have an Internet-capable of adequate upload speeds to handle such massive file transfers to minimize the amount of time it takes to upload. With a direct, onsite ethernet connection to our server at our HQ, the upload speed handled the uploads fairly efficiently. Attempting to do the same remotely from a home office, the upload speed was inadequate. To date, our staff has been quite receptive to the benefits of Image Relay. The main question they ask is why didn't we do this sooner. We had been using our in-house server to store, manage and share our digital photos and documents. It was cumbersome, to say the least. Image Relay has made organizing, searching for, and sharing photos internally and externally much easier and more efficient. I believe it will more than pay for itself based on staff time saved.

We use Image Relay to organize our digital photo and video archives, which include content that dates back to the founding of our organization in 1899. Before we worked with Image Relay, this content was stored on our network. It took up a ton of space and was difficult for our team to navigate. Image Relay makes it easier for us to sort, search, display, and share decades of our digital assets.
  • We can access our digital files from any location with an internet connection.
  • We can share high-res photo collections with outside parties in just a few clicks.
  • We can search 120 years of photo and video archives by using keywords.
  • The AI tagging terms are too generic to really be helpful to us.
  • When we did our initial upload the system couldn't pull in old dates, so everything has a date of the day it was uploaded. It will be a while before searching by "most recent" works properly.
When our donors or supporters ask us for historical photos, we use Image Relay to quickly search our archives and share high-res versions with them. Now that our staff is working remotely more often, they can access our digital archives without having to connect to our network via VPN. When we work with agencies to create our annual magazines or fundraising collateral, we can give the agency temporary access to our entire photo archive and let them choose the art that works best. When we want to search for information on our donors or Alumni, Image Relay can search keywords in old PDFs or publications to show us everything that has been written about a subject in our archives. When we host tournaments, we can share collections with all competitors and add photos in real-time that they can use on their social media platforms, expanding our reach.

We use it to facilitate the content exchange between the consultancy company I work at and the client we work for. It is very easy to use and the fact that it lets you upload folders directly is definitely a time saver. We upload mainly images and videos and it is our most frequently used tool to share any kind of content.
  • Upload folders instead of item by item
  • Previews
  • Folder organization
  • A user is needed in order to download things
  • Tagging would be very nice
  • Video previews
It is a perfect fit to share audiovisual content - videos, photos, creative pieces, and so on between different organizations or as an online library for your own company so you can have access from wherever you are. It is less appropriate to share content just once, with someone you don't want to have permanent access to your documents.

We use Image Relay to sort and keep our images and files organized to use internally and externally for customers, sales reps, influencers, and other sectors of the industry we work with. We found we weren't as organized as we wanted to be and wanted an easy-use system that we could share links with and sort through easier than we would a Google Drive.
  • Makes it easy to share links internally and externally
  • Simple organization
  • Allows us to manage the security level of each user and link very easily
  • The upload process is a little slow for files
  • There should be a sorting system that allows A-Z sorting
  • Drag and drop moving would make things move quicker
Image Relay is well suited for people who need to stay organized with their digital assets and have the ability to give their own employees login with different access to different areas of the DAM and outsiders as well. I don't think it is necessary if you have a small asset database that can be housed on a smaller cloud or desktop drive.

We use Image Relay to store our creative assets as well as share images with customers. This product has made it easy for us to share and receive photos and has saved us a lot of time in doing so.
  • Canva integration
  • Collections - everything is neat and organized
  • Metadata - the way things are tagged makes it easy to search for specific items
  • Adobe integration - the API Keys are always expiring and it's hard to drag and drop
  • Bulk editing - things have to be edited individually once they've already been uploaded
We are a distributor so we get asked to provide images to our vendors. Previously we would have to do so via zip files which were times consuming and hard to keep track of. With Image Relay, we are able to do so via collections which is quick and organized.

My company produces hundreds of products for retail sale. I use images of these products for catalogs, ads, sell sheets, etc. I use Image Relay to download images of our products. Other users are customers & web developers.

We use image relay to store all of our marketing assets as well as a variety of other development and production assets. Image Relay provides space to store important assets away from a local server which allows for collaboration, ease of access and minimization of storage strain on local drives.
  • Allows easy collaboration
  • Manages important asset meta data
  • Extends storage options beyond local drives
  • More intuitive search functions
  • Easier organization of permissions
  • Better on-going training for new and existing users
Image Relay is a great way to send large files and groups of assets to collaborators. Whether that means allowing someone to upload marketing images to the platform for you to receive, or sending large collections of data/photos/records. It is also a great way for your assets to be provided and used by an outside party. Permissions limit what they can and cannot have access to, so it really enables you to make the collaboration process efficient and exactly the way you want it to be.

I use Image Relay quite frequently to obtain design assets for our client's projects. I am able to gather images, icons, logos to be used across various collateral without having to reach out to the client directly. This saves a great deal of time on both ends. I and my other associates use it at least once a week.
  • Content Organization via the menu
  • Thumbnail previews on search
  • Quick and easy downloads
  • After I select an asset, it opens on the preview. It's not intuitive to hit the right "X" at the top right. I often want to go to the previous page by hitting back but that takes me all the way back outside of my original search.
  • No other suggestions at this time.
Image Relay is well suited for gathering design assets. I can clearly see what is available via the thumbnails and am able to download with ease without having to email our client. This not only saves time with unnecessary back and forth with the client but I am also able to expedite projects and have them finished sooner.

We use Image Relay as an Internal Content Bank where we store brand guidelines, images, and videos. It's used on a global scale across countries and teams. Due to its easy functionality, I always find quickly what I am looking for.
  • Quick loading of content
  • Intuitive functionality
  • Easy categorization
  • Automatic sorting to display newest uploads on top
  • Better search for keywords

The image Relay platform is absolutely fantastic. My team and I use this resource daily by providing instructions, training materials, and spec sheets to a variety of personnel in the field and in the office. The ability to share specific resources and limit the time and content they can access the resources are extremely helpful in our field.
  • The ability to quickly and easy store resources
  • The ability to select very specific information to share
  • Limit access to only certain clientele
  • Extremely easy to use in the field
  • I genuinely can not think of anything! I have tried many different resources in the past and nothing comes even close to this.
We currently use this platform to share information with a wide range of audiences. Anywhere from installers in the field, to managers in an office setting. This platform is also very mobile-friendly which is fantastic. It also does not need a password or login for the end-user to access the information you send.

We use image Relay to help graphic designers, communicators, and marketers find images to include in their print and digital materials to promote the university. The ability to browse through topics, or search by keyword, help users find what they need. From there users can use the filters to narrow search results to horizontal, vertical, and even by dominant color scheme. This saves graphic designers a lot of time.
  • Image searches
  • Sharing collections
  • Download speed
  • Search results speed
  • SSO user set up
  • Collection permissions
  • Making it clear that a user is successfully set up with an account
Well-suited: A graphic designer is looking for a photo of students at the Dell Medical School doing research. Keyword searches such as students, Dell, research would yield optimal results and get the user what they need. Could use improvement: I've set up a new user after being contacted with the request. The user appears to be set up with an SSO account, but later they contact me saying their login attempt failed. I cannot find them by searching the Active Users and am left to troubleshoot why it did not take.

Image Relay is a fantastic asset management tool. We use it to organize, save, and share our photo gallery, video files, and marketing files like logos, publications, etc. We have several different departments that use Image Relay including the marketing staff, development staff, and artistic staff. It is a great way to keep all of our assets organized and in one place that is easy to share and update.
  • Organizes photos.
  • File sharing.
  • Permissions between users.
  • Security of files.
  • It would be great if they had an app so it could be used away from the office.
Image Relay is fantastic for keeping, tagging, and searching for imagery and files. It is easy to share files and keep everything organized and up to date. It does have storage restrictions so it would not be a great tool to use for housing a huge video library or something with a ton of large file sizes.

I use Image Relay for asset management, both print and digital. It is a great tool for archiving work as you have the ability to link files to several folders, depending on who/what needs to access that specific piece of art. I also use it for file sharing within my company and outside my organization. This is a very streamlined way to work as linked art can be updated easily within Image Relay, so there is no need to delete and replace files.
  • Provide ways to organize folders easily.
  • Fast uploads.
  • Quick customer service feedback.
  • It's sometimes hard to tell where multiple copies of files live in order to stay organized.
  • It's not clear to someone like me, who isn't in charge of our account, who can move and delete files internally.
  • There is no "set" rule for organization, so things get messy within coworkers folders.
Image Relay is well suited for asset management, archiving art, and sharing files with others. It may be less appropriate for organizations that are not well organized, as the platform can get disorganized by those using it if there is not a clear plan for usage.
