The Support team and resources to address issues are well structured
The Customer Success and Professional Service Teams are open to collaborating and presenting new use cases to optimize Litmos usage
There are rarely any performance degradations
Cons
The reporting functions could be simplified and more customizable (custom admin dashboards)
Major product updates need better support to address client issues
Likelihood to Recommend
Litmos is a robust LMS with a lot of depth however there is a slight learning curve to understand its navigation esp as an admin and a learner. Since reporting is also hard to extract, it can alienate users

We have specialized training required to be in compliance with State regulations. As a non-profit group, our funds for training are limited and we have 3 shifts of staff and multiple locations. The Litmos LMS allows us to create and share material with our small affiliates and to have first line supervisors see training progress in real time.
Pros
Allowing frontline Supervisors to see their staff's progress
Automate reports to get out to all levels of supervision and Administration
Conduct ongoing trainings and record training event, to allow users to become more proficient in the time that works best for them
Customer Success Partners to share new improvements and to assist with problems.
Cons
Only limited people can access the Support site, so help articles need to be downloadable and printable- can be shared with IT or others who need the information
Better search engine in Litmos University to find topics covered within a training
Equivalent courses need to be assigned without staff getting reminders for all. Important to be able to set up so taking a spanish version or english version class meets the requirements, without being assigned for both choices. We are required by NY State to offer Sexual Harassment in 8 languages.

Limos is great for introducing a topic, and taking refreshrs yearly on info already know. Some courses are better suited to a live course, with discussion and questions. We support people with complex medical needs, and review with a nurse is critical.
We use Litmos to deliver and track training compliance across our organization. Most of our workforce is remote (1200 employees). It is a critical part of our onboarding process as well. We can customize learning tracks and report user completions and outcomes to the supervisor through individualized, automated reports.
Pros
Automates course assignments by job role.
Automatically re-assigns course that are required annually.
It has an internal course authoring tool.
Cons
I would like to see more specific reporting capabilities from the reporting engine.
I would like more customization for reminder email.

We use the gamification feature. Learners are motivated to complete training, see their names rank highly on the leaderboard, and earn completion badges to display on their profiles. We also used the learner upload feature to record and track annual training renewals offered outside of Litmos. Supervisors can easily monitor their staff's training status with appropriate access levels. They can see only the information they need.
We use Litmos for all of our training matrix requirements, from our mandatory E learning requiring completion, to registration of in person training sessions. We also house other event bookings on the platform for staff to book themselves onto. The platform allows us to have accurate reporting available to us in a quick manner when needed.
Pros
The content creator model is easy to use and provides lots of oppurtunities for creating engaging training.
The reporting function is highly detailed and easy to use.
The look and feel of the platform is slick and easy to navigate, the branding is consistent and makes it enjoyable to engage with.
Cons
I would like to see more creative options available in the content creator tool.
I think there is scope to improve functionality for managers to book their teams onto in person sessions.
I would like to see more integration with other platforms such as creating teams lobbys.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is easy to use, consistantly delivering an engaging service with high level functionality. You can easily create learning on the platform but it also works well at having learning uploaded in other formats such as SCORM files being added from alternate providers of learning. The service support is also always efficient and quick to resolve any issues that may come up.
Car Wash franchise , 275 locations and growing. We use Litmos as our online training platform for all team members at each site. Over 3500 users currently.
Pros
Clear homepage - easy to know what the Learner needs to do next
Simple navigation around the site
Great teams to work with for onboarding and support
Cons
REPORTS - as a franchise, there is a severe lack of functionality for our hierarchy structure. Regional leaders have disappointingly limited options for multi-store reporting, even on simple metrics like completion % A major issue for us, and it delayed the launch to our franchise until our own internal team used API to build our own dashboards.
Inability to impersonate a Site Leader. Limits our ability to help. I know there are concerns over security, but there should be permissions based workarounds so we can help our franchise site leaders.
Likelihood to Recommend
Easy to use for learners, good navigation. Litmos struggles with franchise structures.
We use Litmos for onboarding training. We use it to track completed courses and compliance. We use it for program management to ensure all our delivery team members are trained in and knowledgeable about our programs.
Pros
Onboarding new clients, white glove.
Continues to make updates and improvements.
Cons
4 different log ins to use Litmos (aha! portal, customer ticket, university, my instance).
VILT in Teams set to not have cameras or chat turned on - have to manually adjust.
Attending a VILT should move module to complete as default.
Likelihood to Recommend
I have seen improvements with custom roles and permissions - before this, we had many problems with collaboration issues across departments. would be a higher recommendation, but have been asking for improvements with VILT for over 12 months. haven't seen it yet. told one thing by the support team and another thing by the development team. still can't get answers or improvements.
Litmos is our LMS for our corporate compliance modules for our internal and external employees/providers. It also has many elective courses for a variety of soft skills. It has a professional look and feel. It does have the tracking we need to keep on top of our metrics. We appreciate the ability to remind users of deadlines.
Pros
Assigning
Tracking
Reminding
Cons
While it looks good, the main dashboard can be some much more user friendly.
Users, especially those looking to complete their compliance courses should not have to guess where to go to complete them.
They need a much better keyword oriented search function that can seek out courses based on works mentioned in the material.
Likelihood to Recommend
Again, basic and simple to use. Litmos looks sleek and professional. The look and feel of the course is fine. However, for the Healthcare arena, there are a number of courses, specifically for the Nurse Preceptor needs that are missing, so we had to go elsewhere.
We use Litmos to deliver online training content to about 2,000 remote employees. Litmos allows us to ensure each employee remains compliant for essential security and HR related trainings. They also use it to complete trainings about client info, quality skills, and soft/sales skills to ensure they are successful.
Pros
Ease of building courses
Ease of building teams and limiting access to content based on their assigned team
Learner interface and content search
Cons
Reporting Engine access for Team Leader/ Team Admins
Ability to lock the esignature module upon completion
Admin Reporting to see history for module uploads
Likelihood to Recommend
Litmos does a great job at providing robust reporting to site owners and site admins. It makes it easy to deliver content to employees and make sure they are staying compliant. It works great for remote and phone center employees where they have constant access to a pc and can easily complete trainings.
NAVBLUE employs 500 employees spread across the world, with offices in Canada, France, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, and the US, as well as representatives in several other countries across the globe. Being a large company in a heavily regulated and ever-changing industry, NAVBLUE needed a way to train our customers on proprietary products, train our employees, and create a learning culture, for this, we turned to Litmos. NAVBLUE knew we had to revolutionize our training strategy if we wanted to keep growing and driving customer retention. Enter the NAVBLUE Academy (NBA) training team of Instructional Designers who implemented the Litmos learning management system (LMS). Pros
User-friendly UI for learners
Very easy to administer even for first-time Litmos MS administrators
Pricing-structure is based on number of unique logins vs people registered in the Litmos MS.
Cons
Inability to make bulk edits to multiple courses at once.
Reporting - the reporting engine is still clunky.
Customer support - we have experienced struggles getting them to join us on a call.
Likelihood to Recommend
With the number of users we have in the Litmos LMS (50K+) and the current pricing structure, it supports most of the requests for access from our customers. The UI is very user-friendly and therefore we don't get many questions about how to do something in the Litmos LMS, from our learners/customers.
We use Litmos to house all of our eLearning courses and track course completion/mastery.
Pros
Reporting
Facilitate eLearning content
Tracking completion
Allowing users to self-enroll in courses
Cons
Allow courses to be manually marked complete for multiple people at the same time.
Add completion dates to reports.
Add a field to mark courses as mandatory on reports.
Likelihood to Recommend
Litmos is user friendly for content developers and learners. The dojo courses are extremely helpful to learn how to is it. We have linked to external courses as well as uploaded our own developed courses and Litmos works great for both types of courses.
