It works great for remote and phone center employees where they have constant access to a pc and can easily complete trainings.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

NAVBLUE employs 500 employees spread across the world, with offices in Canada, France, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, and the US, as well as representatives in several other countries across the globe. Being a large company in a heavily regulated and ever-changing industry, NAVBLUE needed a way to train our customers on proprietary products, train our employees, and create a learning culture, for this, we turned to Litmos. NAVBLUE knew we had to revolutionize our training strategy if we wanted to keep growing and driving customer retention. Enter the NAVBLUE Academy (NBA) training team of Instructional Designers who implemented the Litmos learning management system (LMS). The main audience for NAVBLUE Academy training content is our customers, who are global airlines. Secondary audiences include all NAVBLUE employees who need access to all the content available to NAVBLUE customers. Accessing NAVBLUE Academy allows employees to see how our customers are trained and assist those customers in learning more about the NAVBLUE products.

Pros

  • User-friendly UI for learners
  • Very easy to administer even for first-time Litmos MS administrators
  • Pricing-structure is based on number of unique logins vs people registered in the Litmos MS.

Cons

  • Inability to make bulk edits to multiple courses at once.
  • Reporting - the reporting engine is still clunky.
  • Customer support - we have experienced struggles getting them to join us on a call.

Likelihood to Recommend

With the number of users we have in the Litmos LMS (50K+) and the current pricing structure, it supports most of the requests for access from our customers. The UI is very user-friendly and therefore we don't get many questions about how to do something in the Litmos LMS, from our learners/customers.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Litmos is our main learning platform for ensuring consistent training is delivered to all our teams across the UK. We use this from Day 1 induction to ongoing development and refresher training for our exisiting teams.

Pros

  • Engaging Content
  • Support from CSM
  • Easy to navigate
  • regular updates to governance and legislation on training

Cons

  • Faster response times from support
  • When using the ideas portal they should provide updates no just planning 3 years later
  • amend security roles for job roles so there is more flexibility without having to use Admin

Likelihood to Recommend

Provides a wide range of courses that are generic and suit our industry.

Timings of webinars etc always at end of the business day for customers in the UK, more flex on this

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use Litmos as our main learning platform for our organisation - every member of staff within our organisation uses Litmos to complete their compliance courses, competencies as well as any additional learning to support their role. We schedule monthly reports via Litmos as our bonus scheme is lead by the completion of compliance modules by our staff.

Pros

  • Incredibly easy to navigate for both users and account owners
  • Continual updates such as AI
  • Detailed support from CSM

Cons

  • Further detailed support from customer support team (raising tickets) - this has improved over the last month, but could continue to develop.
  • Timings of Webinars to suit UK customer base

Likelihood to Recommend

- Excellent interface

- Easy to navigate

- AI functionality

- Relatively to report on compliance/course completion

Sometimes it can be difficult to find solutions to functionalities that you aren't aware of as a UK customer - i.e sending emails as English (US) instead of UK, it can hinder when we are creating/sending emails to delegates for our courses.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a large multi-site, national operator in a highly compliance-driven sector. We required a solution to design, deploy and track large volume digital education across our workforce. Through the Litmos platform we have been able to meet and exceed this ask in a way that doesn't just tick a box but drives engagement and personal development.

Pros

  • Fantastic UX
  • Intuitive, native elearning development
  • Good quality courseware that uses humour effectively and when appropriate

Cons

  • Some aspects of learner navigation could improve
  • Reporting module could improve with additional complexity
  • Search function for course library could provide additional filters for ease

Likelihood to Recommend

The customer service on display at Litmos is exemplary and a significant part of why we love the platform. The ongoing releases of new content ensure learning is up to date and continuously improving. The ability to create different branded instances is a real win for group businesses or businesses with sub-brands.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

At LegalNurse.com we deliver self-paced online education to Registered Nurses. We use Litmos to deliver the courses to our customers and to track their progress. We have used Litmos for at least 10 years, and it has been a very reliable platform for us. Litmos is mission-critical for my company, because we can't generate any revenue without it!

Pros

  • It is a very reliable platform. Uptime is excellent.
  • We can customize it to look like we developed it in house.
  • Our users find it easy to navigate.
  • We were able to create an automated interface between Litmos and our CRM system using the Litmos API.

Cons

  • The API documentation was sometimes a bit difficult for my CRM developers to follow.
  • When they were part of SAP I felt that this product and it's customers weren't really big enough to matter to the giant corporate parent (but that is resolved now.)
  • I wish I could pay by the month instead of annually.

Likelihood to Recommend

I believe that most Litmos users are focused on internal training applications, and I believe the product is well suited for that.

Back when we started using Litmos it did not have an integrated shopping cart of way to pay for things. That was fine for us since we did not need Litmos to do that anyway. But recently I know they have built an integrated payment processing capability.

Great Option for LMS

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Litmos for all of our company training. Litmos gives us a way to deliver eLearning, whether it's a SCORM file, video, assessment, memo, etc. to our entire staff quickly and easily. All reporting is tracked inside of Litmos so we know who completed courses and who still needs to take them.

Pros

  • Houses all training types in one place
  • Allows us to organize trainings so we can share what is needed with one group, but hide the same content from others
  • Gives us access to reporting to show what courses have been completed and which ones still need done

Cons

  • Quick reports don't let us utilize our custom fields when filtering results. It would be helpful to be able to use a quick report, but filter the report using our custom fields.
  • It would be great to be able to drill down on quick assessment reports. In the area where you see the graph of what questions were correct and which were missed, being able to click on the most missed questions and drill down would be helpful.
  • The eSignature feature needs the ability to lock people out like an assessment does. Once someone eSigns, there should be no way they can go back in and either re-sign or delete their signature by simply starting over, unless an admin gives permission. Currently, the functionality does not let us lock an eSignature like we can an assessment.

Likelihood to Recommend

For us, Litmos does what we need it to do. It houses all of our training in one place and allows us to send it out to our entire staff quickly and easily.

The only area we really struggle is with eSignatures. We use this feature for memos, but instead of using the actual eSignature, we use an assessment because it gives us the ability to lock it after one attempt so that someone doesn't log back in and show that it's no longer signed.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Litmos as our Learning Management System (LMS) for mandatory training and bespoke sessions, which we create and add to the system.

Pros

  • Good reporting suite.
  • Allows us to send content to right people and right time.
  • Good range of courses.

Cons

  • Should support people more with onboarding.
  • Litmos Dojo not for everyone, remember learning styles.
  • Reporting is great when you know how, and I feel this should be covered with clients as part of onboarding.

Likelihood to Recommend

Our representative has conducted a health check with us, and this has been a great use of our time, as he has been very helpful and flexible with us.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Litmos as our internal and external LMS for our software company. It allows us to keep content in place and publish relevant content to our customers. We also allow our customers to create their own content via Content Author, which is a big draw. Internally, we also use Learning Paths to create training plans for new hires.

Pros

  • Allows you to upload as much content as you'd like.
  • Provides the ability to create content within the platform itself.

Cons

  • The reports are not very user friendly. Customers are always struggling to get what they need from the pre-made reports as well as the Report Engine.
  • The ILT is a bit clunky, and makes it difficult for users to create classes for their learners to sign up for.

Likelihood to Recommend

Litmos is great for creating a library of content including videos, quizzes, etc. We currently do not use it for content creation or live classes externally because it doesn't have all the features we need.
