Overall Satisfaction with Litmos

We use Litmos as our internal and external LMS for our software company. It allows us to keep content in place and publish relevant content to our customers. We also allow our customers to create their own content via Content Author, which is a big draw. Internally, we also use Learning Paths to create training plans for new hires.

Pros

  • Allows you to upload as much content as you'd like.
  • Provides the ability to create content within the platform itself.

Cons

  • The reports are not very user friendly. Customers are always struggling to get what they need from the pre-made reports as well as the Report Engine.
  • The ILT is a bit clunky, and makes it difficult for users to create classes for their learners to sign up for.
  • Litmos has allowed us to make sure users are compliant on required trainings such as Security Awareness Training.
  • Litmos allows us to share content with our customers using one platform.
  • Litmos makes it difficult to create content for specific customers because they will not be able to edit themselves in the future.

Yes

As I mentioned, reporting options are not very user friendly. ILT does not meet our company's needs for live training.
I had to do 1 because it won't let me skip this question.
Litmos is great for creating a library of content including videos, quizzes, etc. We currently do not use it for content creation or live classes externally because it doesn't have all the features we need.
