Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Web hosting and email provider. They have a lot of options, however, I frequently encounter technical issues, which usually are not their fault. However, for some time I've been having difficulty with sending email using a PHP script. Their tech support is often helpful, but sometimes doesn't respond fully. I have not been able to find a better alternative though.
Pros
  • Security for email.
  • Some email spam protection.
  • Security for websites.
Cons
  • Unable to provide email script for their servers.
  • Email filtering sometimes false negatives.
  • Sometimes difficulty with tech support.
  • Development requests pending for 2 years now.
Likelihood to Recommend
Apparently secure website hosting and email. Perhaps could have some better background on common website features.
Return on Investment
  • Cost-effective. I manage (poorly) multiple websites myself & with the help of Luxsci tech support.
  • Generally, things work.
  • I wish they had more info on what I think are common issues with websites or email.
