What is Nooks?

The Nooks AI Dialer is designed to eliminate wasted time in outbound sales by automating and optimizing the calling process.

It enables reps to run unlimited parallel dialing—up to five lines at once—while automatically skipping bad numbers, answering machines, and navigating dial trees. With built-in caller ID, voicemail drop, CRM and SEP integrations, and a basic call library, it helps to ensure speedier dialing. Reps can leave voicemails automatically, take notes, and focus only on live conversations.

Combined with the Virtual Salesfloor, managers can live-listen to calls, provide real-time coaching, and collaborate via audio, video, screenshare, or chat. Additionally, Nooks integrates with number providers and enrichment partners, to ensure higher connect rates with reliable data. Overall, the AI Dialer helps SDRs to maximize conversations, so that they can boost productivity and consistently hit pipeline targets.

Areas for Improvement

  • Recorded voicemail drop

Users can pre-record voicemails and click to drop the voicemail if an answering machine, rather than a live person, picks up. Easy for anyone to learn and Effective to use

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our company is 100% remote, and we use Nooks not only to cold call at scale using their power dialer, but also as a way to co-work. Cold calling is a numbers game, with lots of rejection. Having a shared space where co-workers and I are calling together allows us to enjoy the process and make it a social process that is enjoyable! Sometimes we log in just to do other work with another co-worker.

Pros

  • Quality of the phone connection is strong, rarely scratchy
  • The product rarely has bugs- only when AWS went down did it have problems
  • The company communicates with users regularly and clearly, stating when/if an issue is underway, and what/when is being done.
  • The co-working space is easy to use and requires almost no training.

Cons

  • I have yet to find something that doesn't work well
  • We've found it works best if we don't have our cameras on- which requires more bandwidth.
  • When a meeting IS booked, a transcript of the successful call is available, but only on the user side- not the called side- which I understand is for legal reasons, but would be nice to see both sides.

Return on Investment

  • Calling 100+ people is easy to do, which gives sales the opportunity to talk to real people
  • The coworking option makes it enjoyable, social, to do cold calling, which makes a sales person more likely to do it.

Nooks drives connect rates UP worldwide

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This product addressed a huge cold calling gap we had with our international regions. Speaking for LATAM itself, it provided us with the ability to diversify our local number presence and thus drive a better connect rate. Previous systems we used were unable to deliver this functionality.

Pros

  • Provide ability to diversify local numbers (Mexico for example)
  • Hosts a virtual space for trilingual managers to listen to calls in real time
  • Gamification of the XDR flow of work makes this tools purpose more engaging

Cons

  • I think this is one us (our company), but would love a cache of more #s from other LATAM regions
  • Integration with Salesforce but I know thats developing

Return on Investment

  • Positive: Connect rates and 60 second conversations held
  • Positive: More meeting conversion from calls (still dominant via email)
  • Negative: I think more NAMER regions experience it but it has to do with Gong Engage functionality like with wrong dispositions
