Good end-user experience but not worth the hassle or the cost

We used ON24 for internal and external trainings. We wanted a webinar platform to host our external meetings for prospects and clients. We are a mid-size company that hosted multiple webinars per month during the height of COVID.

We have been using ON24 for four years. We signed on with a two year deal and got roped into another two year deal. At first, we really liked the platform. The end-user experience is create. Love the customization capabilities. Our clients seemed to like the set up as well. The backend experience is not great. Like I said, we've had the platform for four years and I'm still confused where to find things. We've had speakers request we use something else because they had tech trouble. They delete your archived video after a month. Want to get that video? Upcharge. Session runs long? Upcharge. You want certain kinds of reporting? Upcharge. AI capabilities? Upcharge. It gets really annoying. We aren't hosting as many sessions these days so the cost for the platform isn't justified at this point but I wouldn't use it anyway even if they gave us a killer discount (they won't) because of our experience with trying to cancel the contract. We were a few days late and letting them know and they refused to cancel or give us a shortened contract.
