Orum - The perfect fit dialler for SDR teams

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used Orum in my past role as the main dialling tool for a B2B lead gen agency. We found that traditional click to dial tools were slowing the team down and leading to not getting through enough data. We needed a tool that was going to allow our team to not only spend more time dialling, but doing so efficiently. A tool with additional features, like reporting and analytics was also important as our current reporting tools were spread across different systems leading to bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

Pros

  • Speed to dial
  • Data organisation
  • Reporting
  • Call tracking / annotation
  • Salesfloor
  • User management

Cons

  • SMS functionality
  • CRM integrations at time is a bit spotty
  • Number rotation could be better (a lot of repeat digits which makes numbers look similar)

Return on Investment

  • Saw a massive increase in number of meetings booked per client per month
  • Saw an improvement in reps hitting quota
  • Due to being able to work data faster, led to higher performance and retention on current clients

Orum OSI Review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am the top user of Orum at my company based on amount of calls made and time spent in the platform. The main problem it addresses is allowing me to perform the volume of tasks that before were impossible to do manually. In my role I'm expected to make a minimum of 100 calls a day, and before Orum, doing this took all day and left no time for other tasks that I needed to get done, but with Orum, this only takes a couple hours if that. This has given me way more time back in my day.

Pros

  • Automated dialing
  • Giving scores/feedback of calls I made
  • Allowing me to do mock calls and meetings with the AI to practice before calling real people

Cons

  • When doing the AI roleplay, it'd be great to get better feedback/a score for my roleplay like I get on calls as opposed to it just ending
  • The scoring metric on calls overall places a large emphasis on connect rate which is hard to control and can bring down my score on something that's not really a fault of my ability as a salesman
  • It'd be great to be able to call from my own number so that my customers aren't confused when I dial them in Orum and it comes through as not my number

Return on Investment

  • As a BDR, setting meetings is how I get most of my Bonus, and Orum has allowed me to do this more easily by reaching more prospects
  • Whereas before I may only be able to make 500 calls a week if I really grinded, I can make 1,000+ calls a week using Orum even easier
  • Orum's masking of my number has allowed me to get on the phone with folks that had seemingly been ghosting me for months, which has allowed me to grow my business

Usability

A phenomenal tool for any Outbound Team

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Orum gives our Top of Funnel Sales Teams the ability to maximize the number of outbound calls they make every day through automating the non-dialing tasks associated with making calls. Orum simply integrated with our Outreach & Salesforce instances ensuring that the time the top of funnel sales team have dedicated to dialing is truly focused on dialing. Orum also gives our leadership the ability to listen in & coach on live calls.

Pros

  • Streamlines the dialing process. Reps can easily move from dialing one prospect to the next.
  • Easily integrates with Outreach & Salesforce to ensure the correct data is fed to the correct Rep at the correct time.
  • Gives our leadership the ability to listen & coach on live calls
  • Easily manage users within the app - licensing and permissions are simple.

Cons

  • I would love to see Orum continue their process of integrating with more tools.
  • Would love to see a better usage of SFDC & Outreach data in the reporting ability
  • Any time we can see more usage of AI we would love to see it specifically with who to call and when to call them.

Return on Investment

  • Massive positive impact on the Outbound team's ability to make dials in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Gave our BDRs the ability to make 100+ dials per day easily
  • Gave our Leadership the ease of use in viewing analytics & listen to live calls.

Cold calling made simple

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Orum to do cold-calling to homeowners all across the USA. It addressed the fact that we get a lot of voicemails, we get hung up a lot, so it is really hard sometimes to even get a single prospect, on average we get 1 answer every 50/100 dials which is very low, there's obviously better days but being able to just punch it a button call 10 prospects at a time and however picks up gets on the phone is incredible and has helped me and my team increase our sales and obviously benefits our own pockets!

Pros

  • Help us connect with people
  • More conversations in less time
  • Incredible way to cold call

Cons

  • Slight delay when connecting to owners
  • Can only do 10 dials at a time, increasing it would be curious, especially when the pick up rate is lower than 1%
  • Nothing else honestly

Return on Investment

  • Increased efficiency and productivity
  • Cost savings and scalability
  • Improved accuracy and risk mitigation
