A phenomenal tool for any Outbound Team

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Orum gives our Top of Funnel Sales Teams the ability to maximize the number of outbound calls they make every day through automating the non-dialing tasks associated with making calls. Orum simply integrated with our Outreach & Salesforce instances ensuring that the time the top of funnel sales team have dedicated to dialing is truly focused on dialing. Orum also gives our leadership the ability to listen in & coach on live calls.

Pros

  • Streamlines the dialing process. Reps can easily move from dialing one prospect to the next.
  • Easily integrates with Outreach & Salesforce to ensure the correct data is fed to the correct Rep at the correct time.
  • Gives our leadership the ability to listen & coach on live calls
  • Easily manage users within the app - licensing and permissions are simple.

Cons

  • I would love to see Orum continue their process of integrating with more tools.
  • Would love to see a better usage of SFDC & Outreach data in the reporting ability
  • Any time we can see more usage of AI we would love to see it specifically with who to call and when to call them.

Likelihood to Recommend

We started with Orum at the moment of origination of our Outbound program. Orum showed itself to be a perfect tool to assist in the origination of the Outbound team. With it simply integrating into our tool ecosystem, ease of use in assigning the correct permissions to the correct individuals, and ease of use in seeing basic reporting; Orum is perfect for a new Outbound program.

Better connections and conversations with Orum

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Make dialing cold calls faster and more efficient producing more connected calls and more meaningful conversations.

Pros

  • dialing
  • enriching phone numbers
  • showing bad numbers

Cons

  • the "cancelled calls" feature can result in multiple calls to the same person
  • the refresh option I wish was automated from Salesloft

Likelihood to Recommend

if you're looking to make a ton of calls, manual dialing is a time suck and can result in less connections and meaningful conversation. Use this if you're looking to make 100+ calls a day

Essential tool if you're making a ton of dials

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Orum to consistently call prospects about key events or use cases that would be of interest to them. Using Orum enables me to send 100s of more calls in a day that I would be able to otherwise, while ensuring customers receive outreach that feels personalized to them.

Pros

  • Excellent UI
  • High degree of customizability
  • Ability to call 7+ contacts at once for calls at scale

Cons

  • Integrations back to Outreach application
  • More clear indicator on when a number I am using may have gone "bad"
  • More AI roleplay

Likelihood to Recommend

Orum is well-suited for scenarios where I need to call 100+ customers in an efficient amount of time but don't want to spend time dialing them individually. Can be excellent multi-tasking-- I can have orum on in the background dialing while working on another task and then switch over to its UI quickly when I get a pickup. Because Orum links back to your CRM or tools like outreach, if the data is spotty in those places, it can be tricky to have hyper-personalized conversations where you'd need detailed notes.

Cold calling made simple

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Orum to do cold-calling to homeowners all across the USA. It addressed the fact that we get a lot of voicemails, we get hung up a lot, so it is really hard sometimes to even get a single prospect, on average we get 1 answer every 50/100 dials which is very low, there's obviously better days but being able to just punch it a button call 10 prospects at a time and however picks up gets on the phone is incredible and has helped me and my team increase our sales and obviously benefits our own pockets!

Pros

  • Help us connect with people
  • More conversations in less time
  • Incredible way to cold call

Cons

  • Slight delay when connecting to owners
  • Can only do 10 dials at a time, increasing it would be curious, especially when the pick up rate is lower than 1%
  • Nothing else honestly

Likelihood to Recommend

Reliable tool that helps a lot dealing with the heavy tasks such as making 100/200+ dials daily, quick insights, I love the AI coach it really helps a lot, we try to get to 5/5 like a competition and reality is it works pretty well, it's really easy to access all the information of the prospect it's not like hard to find, best tool I've ever used to do cold calling.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Orum to make mass amounts of dials as well as review stats on how we can improve our meeting conversions. The main problem it solves the manually aspect of cold calling. Dialing each number by hand or copy/pasting the number into another dialer is not efficient. With Orum I can call 100 people in one hour whereas before I may have been only been able to call 25 people.

Pros

  • Increases the amount of dials
  • Gives feedback on calls
  • Team collaboration aspect

Cons

  • Orum can be clunky... improving the smoothness of dials would be preferable
  • Connectivity with other tools could be better (logging data)
  • Easy spot to view tag/notes tab (User interface could use some work)

Likelihood to Recommend

Orum is well suited if you are trying to dial as many numbers as possible while giving you the data to help you strategize your approach. Orum is less appropriate to replace your CRM system. It is a great tool to use adjacent to it, but I do not see it being the main system for organizations.

A balanced way of making calls Speed Insights

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it for cold outbound outreach, and Orum helps in making sure the dials are happening at a faster speed while making sure calls are being marked properly in CRM. Orum also gives a way to speed up reaching on inbound lists so it gives best of. both worlds.

Pros

  • Managing Call Dispositions
  • Making sure calls are aligned in a single list
  • Power and Parallel dialing

Cons

  • Dial to connect Ratio
  • Sorting SF lists
  • More options to sort lists

Likelihood to Recommend

Rather than spending time in Calls Hygeine, Orum helps focusing on making calls which is exactly the case it should be used and approved. Ability to reach to more people in less time increases chances of getting a meeting which is what Orum helps and works the best in. Recommended.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am the top user of Orum at my company based on amount of calls made and time spent in the platform. The main problem it addresses is allowing me to perform the volume of tasks that before were impossible to do manually. In my role I'm expected to make a minimum of 100 calls a day, and before Orum, doing this took all day and left no time for other tasks that I needed to get done, but with Orum, this only takes a couple hours if that. This has given me way more time back in my day.

Pros

  • Automated dialing
  • Giving scores/feedback of calls I made
  • Allowing me to do mock calls and meetings with the AI to practice before calling real people

Cons

  • When doing the AI roleplay, it'd be great to get better feedback/a score for my roleplay like I get on calls as opposed to it just ending
  • The scoring metric on calls overall places a large emphasis on connect rate which is hard to control and can bring down my score on something that's not really a fault of my ability as a salesman
  • It'd be great to be able to call from my own number so that my customers aren't confused when I dial them in Orum and it comes through as not my number

Likelihood to Recommend

Orum is really well suited for my role as a business development representative, and allows me to reach hundreds of prospects a week where as doing so before was extremely difficult if not impossible. However, in my role and tasks as an account manager, Orum is not as effective as it does not allow me to utilize my own number to call them through Orum, and this often leads to confusion when calling my customers.

Pros

  • Parallel dialing
  • Call rate %
  • Connect rate analytics

Cons

  • Glitchy dispositions

  • Calling the same person twice

Really good tool to streamline automatic dialing. Can basically put it on auto-pilot for you until someone picks up which is very nice. Avoids a lot of clicks

Great for SDRs!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it to cold call and leave voicemails.

Pros

  • Automatic voicemails.
  • Leaving notes that integrate into Salesloft, Apollo, etc.
  • Analytics.

Cons

  • Calls get cut off more regularly than I would expect. I am not sure if that is an issue on Orum's end, but I don't think it is a network issue either so I am not sure why.
  • In the search lists, it would be nice if we could add favorite cadences or separate by our own.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited for cold calling multiple batches of people at a time, as well as one off tasks. I have not used it for other scenarios.
