Good but needs work

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I like RingEX (RingCentral) as an applicant. The application allows me to record my calls, and respond to them them in detail, even if I'm driving or not able to take notes. Tech Support could be better. They should be able to diagnose a technical issue without me having to be on the call, on hold, waiting for them so they don't get another call and stop working on my issue. In addition, when I call about an issue, they call me nonstop back to back to ask me to hold while they try to resolve my issue. They need to figure out a better way.

Pros

  • Record Calls
  • Only carry one phone
  • Transcript of calls

Cons

  • Tech Support

Return on Investment

  • I should be able to increase or cancel users during my contract

RingEX review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it as a main form of communication for calls and text messages for clients, vendors, potential clients in the US. The phone number assigned allowed us to have a personalized number that can help us receive direct calls without having to go through an IVR which for a small business improves the communication by being personalized. It also helps the AI features such as transcribing the call and getting email recaps of what was discussed on the calls.

Pros

  • Connectivity. No delays or statics when calling which allows a great experience while speaking on the phone
  • Ability to send sms not only to one phone number but create a group if a message needs to be sent to multiple people.
  • Ability to transcribe and provide a recap of the call of what was the call about
  • Ability to use the mobile App along with all the features available in the regular app version

Cons

  • For transcribes, it only works when speaking in English. Even though that's the official language in US, there's people who prefer to speak a different language if both parties can, then, the transcribe feature is not too helpful
  • Sometimes the App has a delay, or calls don't ring on the phone. It could be that if the App has been completely closed for a while or not running on the background, it can lead to missing a call. However, getting an email notification is useful as it helps to follow up as needed when that happens.
  • It would be useful that other mobile apps like WhatsApp could be installed, as some people prefer to use those kinds of apps rather than regular text messages.

Return on Investment

  • Multiple phone numbers can be assigned with the company license for employees, which reduces the cost of having a regular phone service provider
  • Eliminates the challenges for international employees when communicating with clients in US which leads to better communication on the overall experience with clients.
  • Alternative ability to communicate internally with the team members.
