Tenna is a powerful asset tracking and management system that offers numerous benefits to users. One of the most significant challenges that businesses face today is a lack of visibility into their assets, leading to lost equipment, repeated purchases, and delays in projects. Tenna addresses these issues by providing 24/7 tracking and management of all assets, allowing users to keep a tight account of all their tools and equipment.

In addition to reducing theft or loss of equipment, Tenna helps users save money by preventing wasted purchases of equipment that they already have and plan for future projects by tracking inventory. With Tenna's GPS system, users can locate their assets quickly and pair them together to prevent loss. The software also allows users to monitor maintenance needs, work orders, and inspections, ensuring accountability and reducing costs. Tenna has a great asset storage database that enables users to pull reports for financial review, productively use maintenance requests and entries for preventative maintenance and repairs, and keep track of equipment for billing and invoicing with ease and accuracy. Overall, Tenna provides companies with the necessary tools to improve their asset utilization, reduce time-consuming QR code scanning, estimate time correctly with their equipment, leverage equipment data for greater efficiency, and be more efficient as a company.

Easy-to-use mobile app: Users find Tenna's mobile app easy to use and convenient for finding assets, creating maintenance entries, and tracking heavy equipment. Many reviewers appreciate the ability to see where all assets are at any given time through this app.

Useful asset tracking and inventory management features: The asset tracking and inventory management are features that users like the most. They also appreciate Tenna's ability to track heavy equipment seamlessly without issues compared to other GPS tracking brands that had multiple problems.

Great customer service: Tenna's customer service is super helpful and quick to answer questions and find solutions. Multiple users have mentioned how spectacular their customer support has been from the onset with an immediate response to any queries or concerns.

Difficult to Navigate: Some users find the app and website difficult to navigate, making it hard for them to complete tasks. A few reviewers have mentioned that they need more intuitive features to make their work easier.

Issues with Tracking Data: Several users have had problems with the tracking data, which affected their IFTA reporting and geofencing features. They are concerned about the reliability of the data as some glitches or issues in the software keep occurring.

Limited Customization Options: Users cannot customize their dashboard on the app according to their personal preferences. The absence of customization options makes it harder for them to incorporate two steps for work orders. Additionally, a majority of reviewers feel that there should be more guidelines available regarding equipment maintenance.

Users of Tenna have made several recommendations based on their experiences with the software and support team. The three most common recommendations are as follows:

  1. Take the time to set up the system properly: It is suggested to invest sufficient time in the initial setup of Tenna to ensure accurate results and maximum effectiveness. This involves creating an accurate list of equipment and having a clear understanding of how it will be used.

  2. Improve trailer lag: Some users have experienced occasional delays or lag when tracking trailers in Tenna. It is recommended that the development team address this issue to enhance user experience.

  3. Increase customer service support: Users recommend expanding the customer service department to provide more assistance in finding dealers for vehicle maintenance and repairs. Having additional customer service representatives would help users resolve issues efficiently.

Overall, users find Tenna's software and support team excellent. They appreciate its ease of use, integration with Procore, and its contractor-focused approach. To achieve desired results, proper implementation and rollout of Tenna is crucial, along with regular use for familiarity. Users also emphasize the importance of closely working with their assigned customer service representative and asking questions as needed.
