Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use ZoomInfo for prospecting and it has been a useful tool to bring in new leads.

Pros

  • Industry specific searches
  • Qualified contact info
  • Full listing of potential targets

Cons

  • Provide deeper searches within target companies
  • Make real-time streaming data available at all levels
  • Provide more geographical options within a state

I have been able to target specific industries and have been able to find the right contacts based on their position in the company.

I would like to be able to do a more detailed search based on the companies location (i.e., search specific suburbs in the Chicagoland area).

The detail on prospective customers is amazing. We have never had this much accurate data to utilize for our growth plans. After using ZoomInfo for just five months, the number of prospects to buy in our database has grown fourfold. It has been worth every penny.

Pros

  • Detailed accurate data
  • Deeper information on multiple departments
  • Emails, direct numbers and cell phone numbers are priceless

Cons

  • The ability to delete companies we do not want to connect with from research via intent would be great

ZoomInfo is the best tool out there for finding business data

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am in outbound sales so ZoomInfo is my main resource for finding decision makers and new potential leads to prospect. Without ZoomInfo I would have to call the business directly and try to get past a gatekeeper all the time which is time consuming. Additionally I would have to use google or maps to determine what businesses are in an area in order to know who to even call to begin with. Lastly ZoomInfo helps me determine relevance so I am less likely to waste my time or the time of the person on the other end of the line. Very very helpful tool.

Pros

  • Provides Business Details
  • Provides Contact information for Decision Makers
  • Provides intent signals
  • Provides a wide variety of filters to narrow searches
  • Integrates with Salesforce CRM

Cons

  • Providing a filter option for countries outside the states that allows it to be narrowed by state, territory or region
  • Provide the ability to search by postal code outside of North America
  • Have the plug in pull profiles off of their page on their "Meet the team" from the company website in addition to places like salesforce and linkedin

Likelihood to Recommend

ZoomInfo is the best tool in the market for SDRs, BDRS, BDMs, and AE's. It has the most functions, the most features and the most filters of any similar tool in the market. I have actually tried a handful of different ones and ZoomInfo beats them all by far in regard to functionality and usefulness. Anyone in the sales department of the business I work for I would recomend ZoomInfo to. Only time i might not recommend ZoomInfo is to a smaller business that may not be able to afford it. ZoomInfo is one of the most expensive options and some of the must less pricy competitors, though inferior, are suitable for a tight budget.

We use ZoomInfo Sales to profile accounts by business unit, identify key decision makers in those accounts, as well as gain their most current contact information. We then build outreach campaigns around this information by mapping the data into Outreach for specific sales campaigns by industry vertical and account. It’s been invaluable for this activity.

  • Keeping current on personnel changes in an account
  • Having up to date contact information
  • Connecting to Outreach so information can be routed to that platform

Cons

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ZoomInfo helps us find the right decision makers and their email and phone numbers. We also use it to track website visitors and use Intent to see if prospects are looking for our services. People often change jobs and finding the correct individual including their contact info is key to our success.

Pros

  • Contact Information for Individuals
  • Company Information, locations, staff
  • Pulling info from websites and LinkedIn for prospects

Cons

  • Some businesses are categorized incorrectly
  • Outdated information or lack of information
  • Organizational charts are incomplete

Likelihood to Recommend

ZoomInfo Sales has good information for Commercial businesses, but it's not as accurate for Government entities. The Websights is great, Intent is good, but limited search/ key words can make this challenging when you are in a niche market like us. Exporting contacts and info to Salesforce can sometimes be problematic.

Works well easy to use.

ZoomInfo Review - LC

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Zoominfo to verify the existence of an account or reseller. Additionally, the tool has been instrumental in obtaining contacts from decision-makers at each company. It has been instrumental in understanding the company's size, type of business, verticals it works with, and potential for future growth.

Pros

  • Accurate contact information.
  • Determine the size of the company.
  • Identify the decision makers.
  • The potential of each company.

Cons

  • Integration with other tools like Salesforce and D365.
  • Add more SMB companies.

It is a great tool for getting contacts from decision-makers at each company.

ZooInfo review from BDR perspective.

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it to identify the contact info for the right people at the right time. As a business developer, having the correct information to leverage at any time is crucial. Without it, you're blindly shooting in the dark, guessing what an email domain is, and trying to get through the gatekeeping operator.

Pros

  • Integration is really important - the sidebar menu and synergy with sales nav is great.
  • Providing timely updates on information to be able to have the right info.
  • Having the direct dial number for some folks is very helpful.

Cons

  • List the subsidiaries of companies, not only the parent company.
  • An AI summary on the sidebar to guide you on what kind of titles/personas to target for your product.

Likelihood to Recommend

I have found it to work best combined with LinkedIn Sales Nav. I use the filters on the sales navigation search to find people I wish to target, then use the sidebar to export individuals with the correct information into our CRM quickly. That is my bread-and-butter play as a BDR; I'm in there every day. It is also helpful to quickly check a company's revenue and employee count.
