Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Virtual Office

We use 8x8 for our whole office phone system (voice and fax).

Pros

  • Easy to use.
  • The app makes taking calls on your cell phone very easy.
  • Multiple options enable different users to tailor it to their liking (calls on a traditional phone, thru PC, thru app or forwarded to another line).

Cons

  • Occasionally drops calls.
  • Customer service has taken a while to address some issues with transferring numbers.
  • I have had occasional issues with the handset.
  • Enables us to have all the features of an office based phone system.
  • Dropped calls are very frustrating for the employees and clients.
don't remember the other providers we looked into but 8x8 seemed like the best price/value combination at the time
It's a good solution for the modern office. The system and the app allow for a mobile workforce with all the benefits of an office-based phone system.
