Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work

We are small start-up-like company and enjoy the flexibility 8x8 Work gives us to run a full soft-phone setup using computers and smartphones. It's great to know that we get all options that we need now, with plenty of room to grow into their offerings.

Pros

  • The apps are great.
  • Customer service is responsive.
  • Account management is easy.

Cons

  • Why do you need to complete a webinar to receive help with an unrelated topic?
  • We reduced our communication and collaboration software costs by approximately 30% annually by consolidating multiple tools
It is easy to explain to new users, has all the functionality we as admins could ever want and is clearly built around the user.

It's great for any scenario where multiple people have to have access to multiple phone lines - e.g. if you are running multiple brands under one company, or if you have cross-functional roles. At the same time, it allows for easy redundancy if someone is OOO and calls are not supposed to get lost on voicemail.
