Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it for my marketing work for [...] and its partnership company [...]. Making the calls and sending texts.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Being able to copy paste texts on monday.com CRM.
Having 8x8 Work access on my iPhone and iPad.
Receiving 8x8 Work calls on my iPhone.

Cons

Attaching contact information when using text as I’m able to do when using my iPhone.
A bit of seconds delay in transmission but this is due to VOIP technology.

Return on Investment

Quicker calls made.
While making calls, being able to reply to text simultaneously.
Answering to multiple texts.

It has made me more effective and efficient with work. In fact, I’m using the tool for another company I now work for as well as for my volunteer work. Since I use the phone transfer feature, I am able to answer every call when away. I’m glad my first employer hasn’t cut the tool from me despite needing to put all of us on a furlough.

Alternatives Considered

8x8 Work gives me a dedicated phone line unlike RingCentral that gives every call recipient a main number to return my call. Nor can the recipient text back to let me know s/he will call me back later. The combined use of phone and text with multiple recipients simultaneously makes for a powerful system.

It promotes a synergistic work environment in conjunction with my CRM.

Being able to apply both voice and text make it more efficient.

Recipients of my calls are able to reach me directly rather than returning my call to a general company number like my setup with RingCentral and one of the companies I work with as a contractor.
