Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 X Series (Formerly Virtual Office)
8x8 is quite powerful. With great power comes great responsibility. We use 8x8 throughout our office. While powerful it's also quite glitchy. 8x8 helps us all work together whether are are in the office or at home.
- 8x8 texting app is really nice. It helps keep work on your computer and not on a personal cell phone
- The whole system has been found quite glitchy. Last week I unplugged my phone to clean my desk. Big mistake! The touchscreen started calling my boss no matter where I touched! It was funny but annoying. The next day the touchscreen stopped working all together.
- The voicemail checking function is really basic. It would be great if you could add notes to voicemail messages for others on your team to see. Also, who listened to that VM and didn't take care of it? no way to know...
- ROI is definitely mixed. It does help to communicate and work more efficiently. It has also robbed us of DAYS troubleshooting and going around in circles with "tech support".
We only used 8x8. I do wish we had demoed more products.
