Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS

Absorb LMS is allowing us to add a new line of business that allows us to provide a broader blended learning offering to our clients. Not only will it assist with digital learning and content authoring for our existing programs to large clients, but allows us to work more directly in smaller organisations without full L&D capability in-house.

Pros

Cons

  • Content authoring could do with some more functionality
  • Gamification is a separate package and an additional purchase. It should be standard
  • ROI not yet quantifiable - in implementation phase but has enabled the launch of our European business
  • Content Creation (Absorb Create)
  • Reporting & Insights (Absorb Analyze or Absorb Amplify Direct)
  • Social Learning (Absorb Engage)
Whilst we elected to now purchase Absorb Engage initially, our client’s requirements for gamification and social learning was found to be an important need once we engaged with users during our own implementation phase.
Support exists in a real 24/7 manner globally which is important given our locations in both the northern and southern hemispheres. Too many other providers focus on European or North American time zones. The Absorb implementation manager has been exceptional
Absorb LMS had far more white labelling and customisation which is essential for our business use. Talent LMS does not allow downloading of content authoring files, effectively locking you into their platform. Articulate has great content authoring functionality but it staggers me that they don't have a native Mac version. Absorb LMS gives us the best functionality for our needs.

Absorb LMS has excellent ability to implement department structures on many levels, allowing it to be customised for internal and external training offerings both B2C and B2B. It’s highly customisable to the extent that the amount of settings during implementation can be somewhat overwhelming. The team provides great assistance with this.
