Our organization utilizes Aborb LMS as a training platform to provide enhanced training materials that can be accessed at anytime and anywhere to our learners. Our learners are spread across multiple countries and time zones and Absorb LMS allows us to maintain consistency in branding and expectations for all learners. Additionally, we utilize the live-virtual learning option and connect out trainings through Zoom to the Absorb LMS platform.
Pros
- Absorb LMS has created a platform that has an incredibly user friendly backend that makes it incredibly straightforward to create courses for our leaners to access the most up to date information.
- This platform can create simple, accessible courses for learners to access materials or all the way up to utilizing Ai, videos and voiceovers to create engaging courses.
- With a dedicated Client Success Manager assigned to our company, I am able to get all my copious questions answered quickly and efficiently while learning even more ways the Absorb platform can take our courses to the next level. Our CSM is incredibly patient, creative and proactive and made it easy for us to integrate from a previous platform.
Cons
- Translations features are basic and there is a big need in our global environment to provide content in varying languages.
- User Interface can be a little clunky at first and less agile than other Apps.
- Ability to truly customize is limited.
- It ensures consistent deployment of training materials and access to the most up to date content for our users which ensures our learners always have access to the most current information.

Absorb Create has worked especially well for our sales team to create seamless and agile training courses. Absorb Engage allows for us to encourage the social piece leading to better user engagement. We have used Absorb API to connect to registration sites and SalesForce.

stakeholders to understand where we need to devote more educational time as
well as which individual users may need additional support. Tracking user
engagement, course completion rates and department progress are some of our
most used reports and are all easy to pull on the backend or share with supervisors
in the manager view.
The admin experience is much more intuitive and smoother
than the previous LMS we utilized. Managing users, uploading content and customizing
the portal are all easy to implement on Absorb.
Besides the technical aspects of an LMS, Absorb’s customer
support is a 10 out of 10. When an issue occurs or there is a question, the
response time is quick and helpful.

1 - The skills needed to support the Absorb LMS are basic. An understanding of computers to understand uploading and creating courses and user management is a must. It is helpful to have an understanding of user experience, hierarchies and systems to enhance the overall LMS but is not necessary.

The ease of use for administrators and ability to pull reporting data were the most important factors in the decisions to switch to Absorb from the previous LMS software. The ability to use the backend of Absorb to make courses and tracker users data really sold our stakeholders on this product. We also utilize Absorb Create to make courses that are informative, interactive and responding in real time user needs.

Yes, the premium support from Absorb is well worth it as our dedicated Customer Success Manager understands our business needs deeply and offers suggestions to help grow our business and reach our KPIs. Having someone dedicated to our success to support our LMS is crucial to our current success. Being able to have someone to help troubleshoot and brainstorm with has made our LMS better than trying to do it without a subject matter expert.
Absorb Software support is the best customer and tech support I have ever experienced personally or professionally. They respond swiftly to queries and offer actual solutions. Recently we had issues with videos being uploaded in 4k version the standard, recommended size and Absorb support was able to identify the issue and offer concrete solutions and recommendations for what to use to resize those videos. This saved me time trying to figure how to do this and allowed me to get our courses back up and running correctly for our users with minimal downtime.

Yes - The mobile interface works as well as access on a browser but to keep things easier we typically suggest our users save the website as an icon on their mobile device since the mobile app is branded as Absorb and not as the name of our LMS which causes unneeded confusion for our users.
