Overall Satisfaction with Acquia DAM (Widen)

Acquia DAM provides a great resource to host and organize all of our digital media content for easy dissemination and storage. Their team is great, albeit a pricey option, but they fulfill all of our needs as a digital asset management tool. We are constantly adding new products to our lineup, and being able to load in new LUTs from NetSuite to autofill metadata fields is also a huge perk.
  • Provides clean and easy portals to share with clients
  • Autofilling metadata fields
  • Providing multiple search options - searching by file type is great
  • More customization of the dashboard would be nice, but not needed
  • Better clarity on organization between user roles and permissions would be helpful
  • Enhanced brand consistency
  • Ease of accessing content for sales, marketing, and creative team
  • Centralized asset platform
Their support team has always been personable, friendly, and quick to help. I have yet to have any negative experiences with their support, and have always had my issues solved when they would arise.
By hosting only pre-approved content on our DAM, it guarantees that our sales and marketing teams are only using brand-approved content for all of their projects. Whether that is providing clients with approved sell sheets, or making sure our designers have access to the right imagery, and making it easy to find assets for our internal team.
I'm constantly evaluating other DAMs to see if it could be worth switching to something new. As of now, Acquia still fulfills our needs appropriately.

Do you think Acquia DAM (Widen) delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Acquia DAM (Widen)'s feature set?

Yes

Did Acquia DAM (Widen) live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Acquia DAM (Widen) go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Acquia DAM (Widen) again?

Yes

If you are a mid-large sized company that deals with a broad array of digital assets, and regularly sends content to large clients, Acquia is a good option. It helps keep things organized if you stay on top of your metadata consistency, and provides many options for sharing files.

If you are a small company, Acquia may be a bit overkill due to features and cost that will likely not be fully taken advantage of.
