Overall Satisfaction with Acronis Backup & Recovery
Acronis is used across departments in our organization for backup of smaller server installs and workstations. It is not our enterprise DR solution but it plays a role in the overall strategy.
- Acronis is very simple to install, implement, and maintain.
- Acronis is a solid solution which we find trustworthy.
- The pricing structure works well for the way in which have chosen to implement Acronis.
- Acronis was not ultimately chosen as our enterprise DR solution.
- We felt that it lacked the features necessary for our purposes. Specifically, an intuitive and centralized management console for DR across the entire organization.

We use Unitrends for our enterprise Backup and DR. While it is significantly more expensive, requires hardware appliances, and entails a greater degree of implementation difficulty, it fulfills needs related to the scope and feature set which we found wanting in Acronis.
