Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak
ActivTrak has been used successfully across my organization for approx 3yrs but has really proved its worth during these lockdown times, allowing me to monitor staff at home and in the office in one easy app. It helps me monitor performance, as well as sending me alerts for any unauthorized apps during the work day.
- Ability to write bespoke alerts for unauthorized app use or activity.
- Easily picks up new users without having to configure each team member.
- Installs on RDS servers too, allowing full monitoring of whatever equipment is used.
- Live "realtime" screen monitoring seems a little slow sometimes,- a minimum 6-second refresh option.
- Server-based installation isn't as detailed at the user level, but it probably isn't designed for server/RDS use!
- Increased staff efficiency, especially during lockdown.
- Allowed me to know when USB sticks, etc, are inserted via bespoke alerts.
- Real time screenshots to check if an alert was a false positive.
- Ability to write bespoke alerts to help maintain the security ad integrity of our systems.
- The ability to track individuals' logging in or out of work apps easily and accurately, to gauge efficiency and timekeeping remotely.
Allows us to see every app used, every process followed, and the time it takes for staff to undertake their job roles. To be able to compare these metrics against other team members helps to identify possible training needs or process weaknesses.
Using ActivTrak every day helps me keep on top of what all of our staff are doing throughout their working days. I can see when remote computers are turned on, and when every app is started, finished, etc. Also helps me ensure breaks and lunch hours are not abused and is a great tool to oversee any activity as though we were all in the office together.
