Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

I come from a company that handles manufacturing supply and distribution without brick and mortar stores, completely online. We use Acumatica to handle orders at scale, from sale to shipment. One problem we work through is handling long processes related to an item's manufacturing and distribution. Acumatica helps us by keeping processes uniform, and maintaining a sense of consistency throughout the entire process.

They have helped us better serve our customers by providing data in a transparent way, allowing us to be straightforward with dates and quantities in a way that builds customer trust. it also helps speed up our processes in a way that puts products in the hands of customers faster than ever before.
We use Acumatica for sales and inventory, ranging from manufacturing to distribution and everywhere in between. It allows us to handle orders and products at scale while also customizing items as they come.
We previously used DEAR for our ERP and it was too loose and didn't have enough for rules to keep our data clean. Acumatica does a better job.

One scenario in which Acumatica is very well suited is to manage many data points at scale and provide the exact forms by which we can sort through them and make a data driven decisions. One scenario that is less suited is when it comes to unique and differing non-stock items that require more custom processes.

Evaluating Acumatica and Competitors

Yes - DEAR for ERP. with the old system, we had too much freedom to corrupt and hurt our data with Acumatica. We have safeguards to keep us using valid and clean data.

Our company handles product from designed to manufacturing to online fulfillment and it was important to have something that worked end to end. Acumatica was our solution to have one source of truth among all different departments and warehouses in the company.
if we were to do it again, we would focus on the set up and preparation for transitioning to a new ERP. We would focus on our exact use case and outline exactly what needs to be customized before we jumped into a new system.

Acumatica Implementation

We had business needs and use cases that fell between the cracks when we were enrolling with our new ERP. If we had addressed those earlier, it would have caused us less hassle down the road.

WM Synergy
Change management was a minor issue with the implementation - on boarding with the new ERP required us to adjust some of our workflows and there were some difficulties in getting them to stick.

Our experience with Acumatica support is that our cases are addressed, but there is a delay and in some cases communicating through our ISV adds to that delay.

Yes - Usually, they take a while to resolve because the support team request detailed information about the case that usually involves us having to re-create it or wait until the instance happens again.

Using Acumatica

The system is easy to use, and it's laid out in a way that's logical and fairly simple to figure out.

Yes - The mobile interface has a nice looking UI but Ken slow for some of our warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and shipping.
