Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use it as our full ERP and CRM systems. It helps us streamline our business processes - everything from Accounting to Purchasing to Projects and Sales.
Pros
- Platform is simple for our developers to implement customizations that help us tailor the platform to the specifics of our business
- The user interface is intuitive, reducing training time
- Our implementation partner was super helpful in helping us transition from our prior ERP system.
Cons
- Occasionally, error messages are a bit arcane and require googling or support cases for our users to resolve
- There are some operations that require full screen refreshes which slows down user workflows
- Occasionally, some GIs and dashboards can be slow to load
- We migrated from our prior ERP in Aug 2024, so it's still early days (and we are still working on customizations to streamline some of our processes), but I can tell Acumatica is the right long-term platform for our business and will allow us to scale (whereas our prior ERP was starting to show growing pains and hinder our growth)
7-12 months
It allows us to better track inventory for production. It gives us more flexibility for invoicing Time & Expenses projects. It allows us to better track leads & opportunities. It gives our Employees more power to analyze the data they need to be responsive to customers without needing to ask our Accounting department or Business Analysts for reports.
We are a professional services organization (project-based engineering consulting firm), so we mostly use Acumatica to organize project budget/task tracking and invoicing our customers based on T&M or progress billing.
