Saved manual work
Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
Our main use of Acumatica is for order management. We also connect the inventory module to our Salesforce Commerce platform for live inventory. All of our AP and AR operate out of Acumatica as well. We try to use as much as Acumatica offers.
Pros
- Automations are easy to tailor and execute
- Generic inquiries are easy to master
- User defined fields and attributes make collecting specific data easy
Cons
- Recalculating inventory is something we use often to correct inventory availability. It would be great if that recalculated automatically
- We have a massive inventory database as we house customer branded inventory. It can be difficult to navigate the full library and add to orders
- Due to poor adoption of the system, many processes were not optimized at the beginning and lead to additional roles needed to meet customer demands
We can now view all of our e-commerce and direct orders inside of Acumatica. Previously, we had to manage these orders through quickbooks and a home grown e-commerce platform that did not have one joined backend - meaning we had to login to each of our 80 stores.
Because Acumatica is highly customizable and able to integrate with additional solutions, we have integrated Salesforce Commerce to process our commerce orders. We also use ShipStation which has eliminated manual address entry and human error. Lastly, we provide branded apparel and goods for our customer base - a lot of which we do in house. Acumatica allows for us to integrate these into work orders.
Being able to access Acumatica via web browser instead of a Remote Desktop was a game changer. We also have multiple tenants that we can now view without logging in and out.
