Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I am working as an Account Manager at SoftwareONE India. It requires me to make changes in the quotes PDF every now and then. With Adobe Acrobat Pro, the PDF editing has never been so easy. I can easily make changes to the PDF, convert word files into PDF without using any third party websites. Adobe Acrobat has truly been a time saver for me, the time I save in editing PDF. I can now utilise it to seach for new leads.

Pros

  • Quote editing
  • Converting Word files, Images into PDF
  • E-Signing
  • PDF Comparison

Cons

  • There's a room for improvement in PDF image editing, it's a little bit buggy at the moment
  • User Interface can be improved
  • It has made overall backoffice work fast
  • The team has become more precise and there are less errors
  • We don't have to worry about data security as Acrobat provides a secure environment
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
Integrations was something which was a deciding factor for us. As a Saas based company we rely alot on our CRM data, we use it for quoting and invoicing purposes. So, it was necessary for us to have a solutions that can be easily integrated with our CRM. Adobe Acrobat Pro was the product which not only integrated easily, but it works flawlessly.
We deal with data that's very sensitive, includes account details and credit card numbers. It was really important for us to work with these data with outmost security. Acrobat provides just that, with its compliance standards and secure environment. We don't really have to worry about data breaches and compliance issues.
Both of the alternatives Nitro and Foxit, lacks some functionalities. Eg: Foxit doesn't have a very user friendly UI, thats' the same issue Nitro as well. Also, Nitro's licensing is a bit complex. Adobe Acrobat is a plug and play product. The UI is friendly, one can learn it with very little efforts. Licensing is straight forward, 1 user - 1 license.

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

There was an instance where, I need to make some changes in the quote and it was pretty urgent. Our CRM was not working properly at the time, Adobe Acrobat helped me not only in editing the quote PDF but also, sending a copy of it for signing to the customer, I closed the deal on same day. Adobe Acrobat really saved the day for me. However, due to buggy experience in image editing, I wouldn't user Adobe Acrobat to edit PDF with scanned images content in it.

  • We created our customer onboarding form using Acrobat and it was amazing
  • We're using Acrobat to it's full capacity
It's really easy to use, easy to integrate and it's user friendly UI

Evaluating Adobe Acrobat and Competitors

Yes - We were initially using Foxit, but it was then replaced with Acrobat. Since Adobe Acrobat was better in most of the aspects
I would evaluate Adobe Acrobat on our most important criteria's, which would be integration and ease of use
