An effective tool for making my work flow better.
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
Adobe Acrobat is an essential tool that I use every day. We create requisitions and need to electronically attach invoices and tax forms. Acrobat make combining the information into one document a breeze, which is excellent for moving requests through the approvals process. The program also helps with making fillable forms and making files for record keeping. It is an essential tool that I use constantly to make my work flow better.
Pros
- Combine documents that are different file types
- Create print shop ready files to give to our vendors
- Creates fillable forms to make our requisition process easier
Cons
- Adobe makes a new document when combining files. I would prefer the option to add pages to an existing file.
- Adding new graphics is difficult
- It would be nice if the program had a feature that could automatically convert all text in a document into a standard font, such as Arial or Times New Roman
- Acrobat is huge time saver. When printing shipping labels, the online program we use will often edit the address, such as leave out the apartment number. To fix this, I will print to a PDF file and fix any errors in Acrobat before I print the label. This saves me time with reprinting labels and the money associated with refunds/reprints of label errors.
- Having requisitions complete with all the associated paperwork, reduces delays in payment processing. This is an important feature of the program.
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
I find Acrobat to be very easy to use. Overall, it helps with so many areas that it is difficult to elaborate on everything I use the program for. Additionally, the integration with Google, allows me to easily create records in Adobe and upload them to my drive for storage.
I don't use the security feature of the program.
I have only really used Acrobat. All the other programs I have used are word processing programs.
