Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
In our organization, we use Adobe Acrobat as a tool for saving files that we want to lock down and keep as a final (finalized) version. We also use it as a tool for reading PDFs.
This is a tool that is used daily by hundreds of people within the organization.

Pros
- Reading PDFs, with a presentation/view that is simple
- Saving WordDoc files into final versions
- Saving other files types as final versions
Cons
- For my uses, I do not have any major suggestions
- It is very clean and simple to use
- Perhaps a default setting would be to not see "All tools" expanded when files are first opened.
- Reduction in manual errors
- Increased operational efficiencies
- Increased productivity
- Improved security and compliance
- Ease in implementation due to user-friendliness
- Cloud Solutions
- Scalability
- Ease of Use
- Other
Ease of use is probably the single most important factor in our organization's decision to use Adobe Acrobat. In large part, this is due to such varying levels of technological proficiency. More or less, nearly everyone either already knows how to use this or is able to learn very quickly.
It is nice to know that Adobe invests so heavily into security and compliance standards in order to protect its users from data breaches and legal issues. That is important to use. We have other 25 locations and we have thousands of customers. Having assurance like this gives peace of mind.
I have used PDFEscape previously. It is a great product. A wonderful aspect is that it is free. A person can use this within having to link a form or payment or make a payment. Adobe Acrobat is not free (obviously). More or less, it has all of the features that PDFEscape has, but much more. It is a superior tool.
