Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
We use Adobe Acrobat DC to create and distribute fillable, sign-able forms, as well as to deliver proofs to the printer for production. The ability to create forms that can be filled out signed digitally, and returned securely and easily to us is the primary reason we use it. Being able to verify proofs of documents is a much-appreciated bonus.
- Automatic Form Creation. If you have a well-crafted document with checkboxes and lines that need filling, the AI in Acrobat is incredibly good at automatically turning those into fields on a form.
- Documents that have been created originally in vector formats (AI of CAD Files) can be zoomed in to see minute details without losing clarity.
- Occasionally updates will fail on install, but this is an extremely rare occurrence.
- Preferences you set for menus reset whenever there is an update to the software.
- Sometimes the updates will install a new version and not delete/overwrite the old version, requiring you to remove the old one manually to save on disk space.
- Automatic form creation.
- Ease of Zoom on vector docs (CAD Drawings)
- Secure digital signatures
- It is difficult to calculate the actual ROI on using Acrobat, but over Q1 of 2021, I estimate that the automatic form creation functionality has saved me about 60 employee hours.
